Apron treat box

I saw a few people doing tutorials on this type of box on YouTube and as I have
this stamp and die set I wanted to use it to make a little New Home gift
for my Son and Daughter-in-law who have been busy moving this weekend.

I used my own measurements to suit the chocolate chip cookies I wanted to pop inside!
I'm pretty pleased with the finished product and so were they.
The biscuits were well received lol.

The inside box is 2" square and I made the handle a lot longer so the contents
could be removed easily.
I think the little tools are so cute!!

Thank You card

Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing one of my customer Thank You cards.
For this one I have used Highland Heather card, Highland Heather ink pad,
Old Olive ink pad, lemon Lime twist ink pad and the stamp set is
Abstract Impressions!

This is quite an arty type stamp and it's also a two step stamp set,
meaning you stamp layer over layer to get the shading.
I was a bit scared of it and this is my second attempt at this card.
The first is in the bin lol.
But once I got the hang of it I really did enjoy the process!
We should be stretching our brains every day!!

Snow couple!

I'm starting my week with a clean and simple card,
well clean and simple for me.
I have raised the little snow couple on dimensionals, along with the snowflake
but everything else is one layer.

I stamped the snow couple and sentiment using a lovely new stamp set which will be
available on 5th September when the autumn/winter catalogue goes live.
It's called Spirited Snowmen and I will be using it a lot this week, hopefully
giving you lots of inspiration if you happen to have it on your wish list!

You will be able to download a copy of the Autumn/Winter catalogue
in my sidebar on that date!

So I first made the background using some spectrum noir pens on watercolour paper.
I flicked some water on the background when it was still wet to get the snowflake effect.
I left the bottom section plain white for the snow.
I stamped the Snow couple and coloured using stampin write and stampin blend pens.
They both had a smothering of wink of stella to dazzle them up.
I used a new framelit set available in September called Santa's Signpost
to cute the two snowflakes.
The sentiment was stamped in night of navy and the snow couple in memento inks.
I layered it onto a white base card and finished with some wink of stella
for the snow.
