Happy New Year!

I have had another play with the Family and Friends stamp set,
and this time I have made a
Happy New Year card.
I used a DL shaped card for this one, matted with night of navy card stock.
I cut out the numbers (sadly retired now) from the card,
then cut again using fun foam in white (two layers).
I had a final cut using some dsp from Twinkle Twinkle set.
The little people where stamped, coloured and cut and placed around
the numbers before I put the final layer on top.
I punched a few stars, glued in place and added some wink of stella.
These are to represent a Dad, Mum, brother and new baby
(who will hopefully have arrived safely by now)!
Hope you like it!

Personalised Party Favours

I hope you all have had a very Happy Christmas!!
Ours was celebrated the Sunday before Christmas as some of the family
had to work on Christmas day so we got together for a family party.
We spent Christmas afternoon in the beautiful town of Carlingford,
here in Ireland.

I decided to make these cute little individual boxes for each person.
Each image has been coloured to suit the family member, ie, hair colour, shape etc.
I then forgot to photograph them and had to rush round retying the boxes
(well the ones that hadn't been squashed lol)
so I could get a photo.

I used the brand new Family and Friends stamp set which you will be able to purchase
next week!! You will definitely be wanting this one!!
If you don't yet have the Spring/Summer catalogue and would like one,
please email me and I will happily send one out.

Love you to pieces gift box

My final project for the week is this cute little acetate treat box!
I have continued with the jigsaw theme as I wanted to make it a set.

This is the back view of my box.

And here is the complete set.
You can see how I made the card in my Monday post
and the tag in my Wednesday post!

Did I mention I LOVE this bundle. And because it's a bundle
you automatically save 10% off the price but if you sign up
as a demonstrator you could double that savings!!

I cut a strip of night of navy card measuring 8 1/4" x 1 1/2"
Wrap this round your acetate box, marking with your fingers, where you need the folds.
Add a die cut jigsaw piece which has been stamped with the little hearts
to 3 of the sides.
Wrap a length of gingham ribbon and tie in a bow at top of box.
Wrap your band and glue together.
Stamp the front sentiment onto a piece of card or fun foam.
I used fun foam this time but you need to use Stazon ink and give it time to dry
before putting through your cutting machine.
Layer the heart on dimensionals, matt onto navy card, then onto daffodil delight card,
adding a little piece of twine between the last two layers.
Stick this, using dimensionals, to the front of your box
but be sure to leave room for easy opening at the lip.
Fill with treats!!
