A Good Man - fun fold

SISTERHOOD TOP THREE AWARD

My Friday fun fold card is this one.
I came across a written tutorial for this type of card and thought I would give it a go.
I have made a video tutorial showing how to do it
over on my VIP Customer Group.
Feel free to join, even if you aren't a customer!

The side view gives an idea of the shape.

And inside there is a place to pop a gift card or money.
You could also add a verse and place to sign
on the back of this flap.
This card is for a nephew who loves to relax by the sea down in Dublin
where he lives.

I am struggling to get over some kind of bug/virus at the minute.
I am just exhausted all the time and off my food.
But I do feel I am picking up a bit so fingers crossed.
OMG another storm heading our way this weekend.
I swear I have cabin fever this month!!
Be careful out there and God love those struggling in the floods.

Scrapbook Thursday - the great escape

It's Scrapbook Thursday
and this page is for the baby of the family,
wee Finbar!
He is just coming up to 14 months old and really into exploring!
Which is why he has a playpen to keep him safe when needed lol.

I have followed a sketch from
Scrap Our Stash.
My papers are retired dsp from my first year with Stampin' Up!
as the challenge asked for polka dot papers and washi tape!
The alphabet dies is from Tattered Lace.

Shopping List Book tutorial

My Tutorial today shows how I made these lovely
Shopping List Pads with Pen.
I picked up some of these shopping pads at a local Pound store.
They were pretty thick and had no covers so I split them in half
and made two from each pad. The pens were also £1 and came in a pack of 3.

I want to go to Paris with you.....

It's time for a new challenge over at
This time it is Sandie's turn to choose the theme, which is
PARIS!

I do not have any stamps which are Paris themed so had to delve into
my digi papers.
These came from Kathy's World Traveller images.

I cut the tag shape out twice using my Scallop Tag Topper punch.
Once in the french text and again with the Eiffel tower.
I printed out the ticket sentiment and 3d'd it to my tag.
It has been finished with some black baker's twine.
