Numbers at Tag Tuesday

The theme over at
has been chosen by me and I want to see you use
NUMBERS
on your tags!

For this one I just went mad with my numbers!
The donkey was stamped first.
Don't ask me why I went with a donkey 😂
I just fell in love with the stamp.

This stamp set is super cute and is one of the stamp sets
that you can earn during SALE-A-Bration next week!
I have coloured him with blends.
I then stamped the large numbers from Family Party
 at the bottom
and over-stamped in different colours to highlight.
The white area was then stamped with small numbers
and I highlighted them in the matching colours using blends.
I stamped the Happy New Year from Itty Bitty Christmas
and finished it all by blending with bumblebee ink
and adding a stapled ribbon.

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas
and are all safe and well!!
We are supposed to be on a full lock down,
with only essential shops open
but while out walking the amount of cars in the
shopping centre car parks was scary to say the least!!
When will they ever learn!

Scrapbook Thursday

Nearly there now peeps!!
I'm excited for the Grandkids and hope
to see them at the front door on
Christmas morning
so we can exchange gifts.
I am keeping their albums until
New Year's Eve
as I want to add the Christmas morning photos.

These two layouts are for Grandson Sean.
They show them putting up the Christmas tree
and getting ready with their wee countdown ornament
that we bought them this year.

I can't believe how tall they are now!
Crikey we have missed them all so much this year
as I am sure you all understand.
The 5 days off at Christmas
sounds like a really STUPID idea to me.
EDITED we are in full lockdown for 5 weeks,
with an 8pm curfew every evening!

Take care everyone and have a very
HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Peaceful Boughs Christmas star

My tiny little tree needed a new decoration.
Last year I made a little angel so this year I thought
I would do a star.

I used a piece of copy paper measuring
5" x 5".
I followed a YouTube tutorial for the fold.
When cut, I opened up and stamped the gorgeous
I then added some glue to the prominent lines
and sprinkled with some very light glitter.
The folds were all re-scored
before I added a little paper loop on the back
so I could add to the tree!

Pretty sweet sitting on my tree and has a
vintage feel to it.

I hope you are all set for Christmas by now.
I think I am well catered for, food bought.
We have kept it very low key.
No point going overboard and stressing out
when it's just the three of us.
I'll be back tomorrow with one last tutorial
and on Thursday I have a few scrapbook pages
to share then I will put my feet up!

Poinsetta Petals Christmas card

Not long to go now and I have another last minute card!!

I broke into my brand new stash and used the
Stitched with Whimsy dies
which will be available in January.
They don't cut the card just mark it with double stitching
and comes in 6 different sizes.
I hand cut around mine to get the nice shape.
I then stamped the flowers using Poinsettia Petals,
coloured them with real red blends and shaded
the background using Bermuda Bay ink and wink of stella.

Scrapbook Thursday

Not really Grandson Oliver's turn
but his album is a bit short of pages so thought I would do this one.

His parents sent me this photo of them in their masks.
Perfect page to have to look back on
when all this is over.

I followed the theme over at
Scrap Our Stash

which was just perfect for my photo today.

I added the text by hand and drew some masks either side.
I added die cut numbers and used the heart
from the theme photo.

Christmas Gift Bag - quick and easy

Another quick make!
I seriously thought I had finished but never say never!!

I totally forgot about my All Dressed Up Dies
so it was the perfect rescue for me.
A quick run through the die cutting machine using
Melon Mambo card (pink is fine for Christmas??)
Joined it all together. Made a little tassel from the left over scrap card
and finished it with a stamped and layered
Poinsettia using Poinsettia Petals and melon mambo ink.
All finished with my trusty Wink of Stella pen for subtle sparkle.

It will hold money and some chocolates.
I will add the name and a Christmas greeting to the back.

New Home for Christmas card

Happy Monday!
Can you believe it's the 14th already!

My cards today were a commission for two new home cards.
One was a bungalow the other a two story house.

I used the stamp set called Coming Home.
It doesn't have a two story house stamp so I
stamped one house on top of the other,
masking off the roof on the first stamp.
I'm happy enough with the way it turned out.

I also used Snowman Season to add snow.
Everything has been coloured with blends.
The papers and flowers are from Nitwits.

Hope you all have a lovely week.

Funfold Friday - Tent Fold Easel

My fun fold  VIP Video today is called a
Tent Fold Easel Card.
I made these for our kids for the New Year.
The shape is really fun and folds flat if posted.

I had seen loads of these designs on Pinterest etc
and decided to have a go.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it really
didn't hold together perfectly at the base.

So I came up with a matching corner that can be slid
off to fold flat and slipped on easily to hold together.
I actually like the added effect it gives.

I used papers from the in-colour selection called
and the stamps were from Family Party,

Lockdown was lifted this morning so we dashed out
for some last minute items.
Thankfully the two shops we were in were
not too bad at all and people seemed quite happy.
I had such a bad sleep last night, ended up with about 4 hours,
that I feel I am in zombie land today!
It will be a long day!
Take care out there.

Scrapbook Thursday

My layout shows Grandson Finbar
helping to decorate the tree.
Being nearly two he is totally fascinated with the lights
but I think since it has gone up he has been pretty good!
The photo isn't great but none the less it is an important memory.

I followed the sketch over at
The papers are all from last year's Christmas selection
to embellish my page.
The baubles were stamped in pacific point ink
then washed over to spread the ink using my

Snowman Season at Tag Tuesday

It's the second week of our challenge at
where the theme is Christmas or anything goes!

As I had all my kraft card and envelopes out
I continued with the snowman theme and made a Christmas tag.

I have used Snowman Season stamp set again
and coloured him with whisper white ink
and some real red blends.
I stamped the sentiment and ripped the edges
before gluing in place.
I finished it off with a piece of retired ribbon.
I dotted on the snow with the same white ink.

Decorated Envelopes using Snowman Season

Happy Monday!

I got an urgent request for 24 decorated envelopes
suitable for money gifts,
from a customer and this is what I came up with.
I used kraft envelopes that I luckily had in my stash.

One was decorated with winter woods stamp set,
the second two using Snowman Season stamp set.

The snowmen were coloured using the whisper white ink
Took a bit of time for the snowmen but the trees
were so quick they make up for it!
I cut up some labels, rounded the corners
and stamped the Happiest Christmas Wishes

All has been received by a happy customer.
Job done!

Winter Woods Batch Cardmaking

I was a bit short of Christmas cards so
had to have a go at some quick and easy ones that I
could batch make and that would post flat!

I spent an absolutely fortune at the post office!!
When did second class stamps get so flippin' expensive!

Anyway, rant over 😂
I used winter woods stamp set for the trees
and stamped them in memento
over my inked up sky using pacific point ink pad.
I add some Frost White paint along the edge and
flicked some over the sky.

I had initially masked off the area, top and bottom,
to get a nice clean design.
The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
I made the mask so I could slip my cards inside it easily
to allow me to repeat the process quickly.
I have a video in my VIP Group showing how I did it.
Was pretty pleased to get half a dozen done in no time.
