Silhouette Scenes tag

This is the second week of Michele's theme
Mostly Monochrome
over at Tag Tuesday.

For this tag I have used
sadly retiring soon,
which I stamped in memento ink.
I then stamped the wording in basic gray
and added some clouds inked in basic gray too.
I punched it with the Scallop Tag Topper punch
and matted onto black card.
It has been finished with a bit of black ribbon,
and a tiny punched heart in red.

Easter Egg Cards

I made these cards for my Grandkids
for Easter.
I decided going with an oval shape would look cute
and with them all being boys
I went with green and blue colours.
I cut one oval in Bermuda bay and one in granny apple green.
The curvy die was used to cut the top and bottom
off both ovals and then I just swapped
them about and and stuck on to my base card
which I had cut with the same oval.
I stamped and coloured the little rabbit in
matching colours and the sentiment
was stamped in bermuda bay ink and
punched out using the Oval Occasions dies.

For this card I have used
Oh so Ombre papers retired
Fable Friends Stamp set retired

Customer Card Kit

My VIP Video tutorial shows how to put
this card together.
This is one of my card kits for March
and luckily enough I have enough of the gorgeous
Butterfly Bijou papers to fill the kits
as it's gone forever 😓

I got the layout of the card from one Mary Fish did,
but I have changed it up slightly adding
the embossed background and different colour scheme.
The sentiment has been white embossed
The embossing folder is called
It has been finished by adding some
pastel pearls to the butterflies
which where die cut using the

Poor Hubby was shivering all nice,
literally teeth chattering, after his first jab.
He is normally very fit and healthy so
I think it was a bit shocked at getting a reaction lol.
Lovely blue skies here today but would you believe
there is a slight chance of snow!!
Have a great weekend!

Wildly Grateful card

Another thank you card for my stash.
I keep forgetting thank you and sympathy cards
so trying to build them up again.

This one has used the Butterfly Bijou papers
which are sadly sold out
but you could easily ink up your own background
to look the exact same!

I have punched the papers out using the
and then laid them out on the card base
as above.
I didn't want to cover the whole card
so went from corner to corner.
The butterflies have been stamped in memento
then coloured in using
calypso coral and daffodil delight blends,
finished with a bit of wink of stella.
I die cut the butterflies and curled their wings,
then added to the card, just gluing their bodies.
The sentiment is from
and has been added using memento ink.
I decorated the envelope with a
matching die cut butterfly and the inside
has been decorated with left over bits from
the punched out papers.
The inside sentiment is from

Mostly Monochrome!

Our challenge this fortnight at
has a theme of
mostly monochrome
and it has been chosen by the lovely

I have used Butterfly Brilliance again.
I stamped the large butterfly stamp
and cut a tag shape from it.
I used some small background stamps
and added texture to the background
The main butterfly has been die cut
from the papers (sadly sold out now)
and added to the tag.
It has all been layered onto black card
and finished with a mounted sentiment
and then some black ribbon
stapled in place.

Birthday Cogs!

Happy Monday!

My card today was made for my
Mother-in-law's Grandson.
He is an engineer with Triumph motorbikes
and loves his fancy cars so I thought
this would suit him.

I have used the garage gear dies to
create all the cogs in silver, black and mango melody card.
The background papers are retired.
I also used the little brick die from the
Brilliant Wings dies to make a brick stencil
to add some brick to the papers.
The sentiments are stamped in memento
stamp sets.

Spanner Card Tutorial

Front of card

inside first layer

inside second layer, place to add sentiment

I usually do a CAS card tutorial on a Friday
but I have had this card on my MUST TRY list
for nearly a year so had to give it a go.
It is called a Spanner Card,
seriously don't know why but there you go!

I have used the lovely Butterfly Bijou papers
along with Magenta Madness card and ink.
The butterflies are from the
which you are going to see a lot of for a while
as I absolutely love it.
The butterflies come in so many sizes,
the papers are gorgeous and can be cut with the dies,
and it will keep me busy with birthday ideas
for a good part of the year to come!

I do have a tutorial available in my VIP Customer Group
showing how I made it.

Little Note Cards

I bought a pack of the little
to see if I would like the size.
Love them!
So easy to play with and useful for
Thank You and Sympathy cards.
They measure 3 1/2" x 5" and there are
20 cards and envelopes to a pack.

I have gone with Terracotta Tile
which is a lovely shade of orange.
I have also used the brand new

(the papers are only available until end of April)

The sentiment has been punched out using

I absolutely love this suite so much and just
couldn't resist treating myself.
With the leftover paper I decorated
the envelope as well.

Here is a photo of two of my Grandsons
enjoying their St. Patrick's Day treats :)
Tom's helmet is something else 😂
