Triple Point Card

I have been wanting to make one of these cards for ages
having seen them over at the very talented Carol's blog.
So here it is.
It really was easy to make, just like Carol promised!!

I have used papers from Pink & Main
and the stamps are from Whimsy, and Stampin' Up!
The card has been made for my daughter-in-law
who recently passed her driving test.
She is an amazing girl coming from Latvia, learning our language
and then doing her driving test and passing first time!

Steampunk at Tag Tuesday

It was Valerie's turn to choose the theme over at
and she wants us to go with
Steampunk!

I don't have a lot of stuff and lends itself to this theme
so I did my best with what I have.
The tag was cut from heavy green cardstock.
I stamped some text using From the heart stamp.
I then used a stencil and some 3d green paint.
I used the Geared Up Garage bundle to create
the cogs which were cut using a sparkly card and a few
more stamped to fill the spaces.
I then inked up the edges with distress ink
and added a green eyelet to finish.

I hope you get time to join us.

Had an early start yesterday collecting daughter
from Dublin and it knocked me for six and I ended up
being sick with exhaustion! Old age is catching up with me!!
Back on form today thank goodness.

Fun fold Birthday card

Front

Back

I have 5 fun fold cards to make for a customer, this is the second one.
So I thought I would have a go at a block card.
This is my first one and it physically hurt my brain to work out the measurements
for the size of card I needed lol. But once I got my head around it
I really enjoyed decorating it up.

The front is covered in daisies using Daisy Lane stamp set and punch.
The leaves are die cut from the Forever Flourishing Dies and coloured with ink.
I have added some card candi to the centres.
The papers are from a freebie during Sale-a-bration set last year.
Inside I have cut some butterflies using Brilliant Wings dies.
The little ladybirds are from Nitwits.

Shutter Fold Card

Second post today!!
This is my midway project for Stamping Sensations
where the challenge is
anything goes stamping (option add some diecuts)
Just remember to STAMP, STAMP, STAMP!

We are sponsored by Oakwood Archer  this month
and they will be sending our lucky winner a £25 prize package of crafting goodies.

I decided to go with a fun fold card and lots of stamped
and die cut foilage!
The card itself uses a shutter fold die from Tattered Lace.
The papers are a retired Stampin' Up! set, card is rich razzleberry and
I have used Forever Fern stamps and Forever Flourishing dies
in Rich Razzleberry and Evening Evergreen colours.
The daisy is from Daisy Lane and has been stamped,
punched, layered and finished with a pearl.

All for baby!

It's the second week of Wendy's theme of
use some fabric over at

I decided to go with a new baby tag and made
some little rolled flowers using pink felt.
The oval shape was cut from some retired papers and
I stamped the little stars in the background
using All For Baby stamp set.
The sentiment was stamped then punched using
my oval punch.
The flowers were glued in place with
some punched out leaves added.
I finished it off with a bow in stitched pink ribbon.

Birthday gift set

I had made this set for my daughter-in-law Baiba
for her birthday during December.

The card was made using Dressed to Impress
stamp set from Stampin' Up!.
The gable box comes ready made so I just stamped one of
the flowers from the Dressed to Impress set and coloured them
using daffodil delight blends.
The sentiment on the box is from Pink & Main.

Fabric at Tag Tuesday

Our new challenge at
has been chosen by the lovely Wendy and she wants to see us use
some fabric on our tags.

I had a hunt then realised my fabric scraps are all out
in the garden house, probably buried under a mountain
of furniture and bags that my daughter has been storing
before she moves into her new house.
So I found some little organza bags and thought
they would do the job.

I used some retired papers for the tag,
mounted onto some kraft paper.
I stamped the sentiment and around the edges using
Sweet Ice Cream stamp set from Stampin' Up!
I stuck the back using double sided tape.
I made a loose band with sentiment to
go across the back and finished with some linen thread.
Perfect tag for added some birthday money to.

Birthday cake funfold

Back into crafting again now that things are settled I have
a bit more time on my hands.

So I had a variety of cards to make for one of my customers
for Birthdays and Mother's Day and this is one of them.

I have used a Tattered Lace Die for the card shape,
layered up with some retired papers from Stampin' Up!
The flowers have been stamped, punched and coloured using
Flowers of Friendship stamp and punch set.
The little banner was stamped using a set called
Banner Alpha from Pink & Main in calypso coral colours.
I added silver gems to the flowers and finished with some
silver ribbon and a cake cut from same paper pack.
The little candles behind the cake are from
Approaching Perfection stamp set from a Stampin' Up!
sale-a-bration freebie last year.

So we headed to Dublin airport at 6.30 yesterday, in the snow!
All went well but Charlie's first flight was delayed which
caused a knock on effect for her connecting flight in Chicago,
which she missed.😓 Her luggage went missing and she had to get
another flight booked for 6 hours later that evening.
So she spent a long evening keeping in touch and keeping
everything crossed that she would reach her next destination.
And she did, finally, in the early hours of this morning, she landed
in Kansas where her friend was waiting for her.
AND her luggage turned up! Apparently it didn't miss the
connecting flight, go figure!!
But she is safe and happy and we can now relax again!

Tick tock!

I have another tag for Michele's challenge over at
where the theme is clocks/time.
After much searching I am realising that I only have one clock stamp!
So out came that set called Chronology
and and this time I used three different ink colours to stamp the clock.
I punched a few ovals using my oval punch and
stamped the sentiment with some cogs and added some ribbon behind.
I thought the whole tag lacked a bit of texture so
I added some 3d paint through a stencil.
I finished it off with an eyelet.

I hope you get time to join us.

We have been hibernating for about a week or so now
as our daughter is heading to USA on Friday and we
are afraid of carrying covid into the house.
We are all vaccinated but we just don't want to take any chances,
and ruin her trip.
She will be away for two weeks and I will be counting the days
till she gets back, hopefully COVID free!!

Happy New Year

Well we made it to 2022 and so our January challenge begins at
and the theme is
anything goes stamping with the option of  adding dies.

We have a great prize up for grabs!
Prize is a £25 prize package from Oakwood Archer.
So hope you can get your stamps out and have a go.

My card was really me just having fun with my inks lol.
Forgive the photo, I will try and get a better one.

I used a Hot off the press stamp called Feathers.
Stamped in memento. I added some little stars from the same
set and a few corners which I added some doodling to.
I highlighted some parts of the feathers with a silver pen
and finished with a silver twine bow.
The background was made using shades of orange,
yellow and red inks from Stampin' Up!
