Sweet Songbird!

My VIP Video today is a sketch card

which also uses up those little scraps of dsp.

I have used the Sweet Songbird stamp set and matching punch

Songbird Builder.

The scraps, of which I still have loads 🙊 were very

useful for this sketch.

I put in a big effort today, showered and put some clothes on lol.

Finally beginning to see light at the end of the flu tunnel.

This is day 9 and it has been a long hard struggle to get here.

Hubby is at about day 6 so you can imagine 🙈

It seriously has been the worse flu I have ever experienced,

way worse than COVID.

Anyway hopefully that me on the mend and hubby close behind.

Pretty Gift Box

My tutorial today is this pretty box.

I made it to hold a fidget scrunchie which I have taken

to crocheting in the evenings.

If you remember back, when I did the worry worms,

well my daughter took all I had and gave them to kids

when she was at the Q Con in Belfast last weekend.

I think I must have done at least 30.

Apparently they were a big hit 😁

Hot colours!

It's my turn to choose the theme over at

TAG TUESDAY

and as the weather has been so hot recently I

decided to go with HOT COLOURS!

For this week's tag I inked up the background using

Melon Mambo, So Saffron and Flirty Flamingo

with my blending brushes.

I gave it a light spray with water to lift some colour.

Then I stamped the flowers using memento black ink.

I matted it onto some black card and finished with a bit of ribbon.

Unfortunately I am down with a really bad flu/covid

from last Thursday. It has really taken it's toll

and I can do nothing only sit around and rest.

More scrappy bits!

More scrappy play for my VIP ladies.

My scraps today are from the in-colours paper pad.

The candle tops and wicks are stamped using the wing of a bird

and a slim line for the wick. very quick and easy.

Weekend in Paris

This is my midway post for

STAMPING SENSATIONS

where the theme is anything stamped (option around the world).

For my card I used papers called

Kathy's World Traveller pack.

The stamps I used are called Girlfriends from Art Impressions.

It comes with four ladies so I just cut off two for my card.

They have been coloured using blends.
