Why cut one!!

I had a quick card making session and put these
cards together. They are a joy fold card and rather than making
one at a time I went for 3 at a time.
Worked out to be a great time saver and paper saver!!

I used a retired set of papers, just flipping one section to give me
a different look but so quick to cut all the card and papers in one go.
The stamp is from a lovely set called Biggest Wish.

We are off to our Niece's wedding today in Dungannon.
About half an hour's drive so not too bad.
Hoping the rain stays away!

Beary Cute Christmas

Another Christmas card done!

This time I went with an angled gate fold card
and I used Beary Cute stamps and Beary Christmas papers.
The background is very vanilla card and it has been
teamed up with real red card.

We had a right time with the storm yesterday.
The rain was actually going sideways lol.
Roof still in tact but water got into our electric smoke alarm
and the noise was deafening.
Had to disconnect it and hope it dries out!

Playing card holder

My tutorial today is a playing card holder!
When the Grandkids are here they like to play cards and some
of them struggle to hold a big handful of cards at one time,
myself included lol. So I thought one of these would be handy
to have.
I did make one for each of them and in their favourite colour scheme.

I left space on the back to keep scores and a pencil is
easily kept neat and tidy in the stand itself.

Bonus, they fold flat for storing!

You can watch my tutorial here

Measurements needed to make one
Base card - 6" x 10"
Score long - 1/2", 4 1/2", 8"
Card for pockets - three pieces at 7" x 2"

Storm Agnes has now arrived. We, of course had an instant leak
but thankfully the boys got up on the roof to fix it.
Fingers crossed it holds out. They have promised to finish the
roof this week but who knows!!
Keep safe, hopefully she will be a mild one!

More Silhouettes

It's the second week of Michele's theme
Silhouettes
over at Tag Tuesday.
I used the Silhouette Scenes stamp set along with
some gorgeous autumnal looking papers.
The image was stamped directly onto the paper and
matted onto some black card.
I stamped a sentiment on to some vellum and wrapped it
around my tag. Quick and easy!

It's wet, cold and miserable here today and I am off
to the dentist to get a filling and a clean up.
Enjoy your day!!

Sweetest ever season!

Happy Monday!

I'm starting my week with another Christmas card,
this time using a retired stamp set and retired papers!
Go me!!
The stamp set is called So Santa and it's a very cute set.
I used my score board for the lines to add texture
and the theme and sketch are from

I had a crazy day yesterday!
I decided to make some apple and blackcurrant crumble, prepared
two big dishes and popped the oven on to heat up.
Well it didn't! I pulled out the air oven thingy and my tins wouldn't fit
so had to carefully lift layers of the crumble into suitable bowls to cook.
It did taste lovely though 😁
Then, heavy rain and winds arrived and yes, we had yet another leak!
Seriously, I was suitably stressed out yesterday!
Today I am trying to keep calm and carry on!

I hope you all have a lovely stress free week!!

Spot the circle!!

My cards today were made using a circle punch, really I did!
I have a video over in my shop page if you are interested.
It was a fun technique and one I haven't used before
and it came about because the lovely Carol sent me a video link
which clicked my brain into action for this design.
I will give the cards a try Carol as they were such a great idea
and I am sure Mary from our group, did a few cards using that technique too.

I have used the gorgeous Countryside Inn papers along with Timeless
Arrangements bundle and a 2 3/8" circle punch.

Roofers are back again, only the second time this week💩
but at least they are here.
My son and daughter in law are taking us out to Belfast
this evening for some entertainment and we are both
looking forward to getting out of the house for a while!
I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Lots of hugs.
