Sympathy card 2

I'm sharing another one of the sympathy cards I made recently for a friend.
I went with a centre step card.
The flowers, foliage and butterflies came from various sets
from my stash and the papers are from a retired pack.

I followed the design inside too.

Tag Tuesday

It's the second week of Sandie's asemic theme over at

This week I started off with a yellow piece of card.
I stamped the script stamp on top from Gorgeously Made set.
I then add some pieces of torn paper allowing the script
to peep through here and there.
I made some paper flowers and punched leaves from the same paper.
I also cut the bird from the paper and added some pieces of
doily to the corners.
I stamped the script onto the doilies too then added some
scribbles around the edges of the tag.
It was an enjoyable hour spent mucking about lol.

Scrappy Friday

My scrappy Friday video shows how I made these card
using scraps from my Countryside Inn paper pack.
I added some texture to the circle and used a plain die cut
from my white card scraps.

Asemic writing...

Our new challenge theme over at
has been chosen by Sandie and she wants to see some asemic writing
on your tag.

( Asemic writing is a wordless open semantic form of writing.

The word asemic means "having no specific content" or "without the smallest unit of meaning" )

I started off stamping some script using  Gorgeously Made stamp set
which has a great asemic stamp in there.
I then inked up the tag using two shades of blue.
I die cut the leaves in black and stuck on top.
I then added some pearlized enamel effects dots here and there
and finished with a sentiment and some staples ribbon.

Thinking of you...

Happy Monday.
I had a few sympathy cards to make for a few special friends
who recently lost their Mum/Granny.
This is one of them.

I used a tattered lace die for the card shape. I think it's called a
tri fold shutter.
The papers are from Stampin' Up! and the flowers and foliage are from
a mix of retired products. One of them is my favourite all time set called
Forever Fern.

This is a side view.
I layered up the butterfly die from  a set called Brilliant Wings dies.
The sentiment is from a stamp set called Hope you Know.

Electric went off here early this morning.
Thankfully we had just finished our breakfast, would hate to miss
my first cuppa of the morning!
It is back on now though.
It's now 1pm and I'm finally getting into my craft room
Looking like ONE OF THOSE WEEKS lies ahead of me!!
Have a great week.
