Another lap blanket finished and away
to it's new home.
I wasn't fussy on the mix that this wool gave me
this time round. The pink version had a
much smoother colour change
but it finished up all right.
About to start on a daisy granny square one now.
This was my practise one as I have never
crocheted a flower before.
I will do a different colour in the centre of
the flower for the rest of them.
I won't be rushing it, just something
for filling in days when I'm not
crafting....Maybe I should be doing
housework then lol??
A lovely blanket to keep someone warm and pretty colours. I agree that variegated yarns can be unpredictable and some nicer than others but I do enjoy using them. The daisy motif is pretty and far nicer to fill odd moments making something like this than the dreaded housework You can guess which I preferš¤£š¤£

Love the variegated shades of blue Pinky, your crochet looks so neat and even, the finished blanket is fabulous. I've never crocheted a flower either, it looks so pretty. Recently finished a king sized throw, intended for our bedroom but don't like it. It's lurking in a cupboard in the spare room- not sure if I'll ever crochet anything else- my first crochet project and probably the last! xx
