Tis the season!!

Happy Monday!
I have another Christmas card using some retired stamps
and papers and the new Patchwork Pieces dies.

I followed inside with a left over piece of the same paper.
Another little bit of my stash has been put to good use!!

The roof tiles are nearly fully in place.
Still another bit of roof to go and all trimmings.
It has been an never ending saga for sure!
He has a few other bits to fix around the house for us
then peace will reign....I hope!

A few baubles!!

Happy Monday!

I have finally started my Christmas cards!!

I found a stash of cream card waiting to be used so dug out
some retired bits of paper to see if I could get a card from them.
I did and even had a strip for the inside.
The papers are really sparkly yet have a lovely vintage
Christmas feel. Reminds me of my childhood when my
parents hung paper baubles from the ceiling.

I used the patchwork pieces to cut the paper and glued to some
night of navy card. The stamp set is called Christmas Gleaming (R).
I stamped the bauble and coloured it in with blends.
The sentiment was stamped in night of navy ink
and I finished it off with some green/gold ribbon.

Pretty pleased to have one under my belt!!

My layout shows Grandson Finbar

Being nearly two he is totally fascinated with the lights
but I think since it has gone up he has been pretty good!
The photo isn't great but none the less it is an important memory.

I followed the sketch over at
The papers are all from last year's Christmas selection
to embellish my page.
The baubles were stamped in pacific point ink
then washed over to spread the ink using my

The day started of beautiful and the view across the lakes
was amazing! Has dulled slightly now and a lot colder.
But I have 24 envelopes to decorate for money presents to get done today
so I will be busy.
Hope you are all busy, in a good way, too!
