Art Journal Page 2 - daisy delight

My Thursday Journal page is this one!
NO PINK!! I wanted to use up some old dsp and went with
Daisy Delight. It has a white strip running through it.

I stamped a small daisy around the edge of my page in daffodil delight ink.
I then ripped my dsp to fit and stuck over the top.
Using one of the sentiments from the Daisy Delight stamp set and basic gray ink
I stamped all over the green dsp just leaving a smaller area for my flowers.
I stamped 3 large daisies onto the dsp then stamped and punch another 3
which I water coloured using the daffodil delight ink and an aqua pen.
The ones on the dsp were coloured in daffodil delight blender pen.
I stamped some leaves and coloured them with old oliver blender pen.
I then adhered the watercoloured flowers in place.
The centres were stamped using the gray ink and that's it!
I walked away before I could add anything else lol.
What do you think???

Daisy Delight birthday card

Today I have a card for one of my Sister-in-law's birthday.
I kept it sweet and simple and used the lovely Daisy Delight stamp set
and matching punch.

How I made my card
1. Chop an a4 sheet of very vanilla down to 30cm
Chop again so you have 2 x 15cm
Use one for your card base, folded in half.
2. Cut a piece of dsp 2 3/4" x 5 7/8"
Glue in place.
3. Cut a rectangle (2 1/4" wide)  of very vanilla card stock.
Stamp the stem in lemon lime twist, add some little flowers using
lovely lipstick marker.
4. Stamp the large daisy twice using soft suede onto lovely lipstick card.
Punch and curl with your scissors.
Layer together using glue and adhere to the top of your stem.
Finish with a gold faceted gem and a tiny know of ribbon as shown.
5. Stamp your sentiment in lovely lipstick and punch out
using the classic label punch.
Add to your card using dimensionals.
6. Follow the design inside using exact measurements as before
and stamp your sentiment in lovely lipstick.

Over the rainbow....

Top 3 Badge

It's the first Sunday in March and that means it's time for our challenge at

The theme this month is
Over the Rainbow
so make something inspired by the song or by the colours

The prize this month is a random selection of dies!!

For my card I just followed the colours and cut strips from each
coloured card, (great for using up those scraps),
adhered them to a piece of waste card to fit my mat.
The base card is crumb cake, nice and neutral to allow the colours to pop.
I then stamped  the wavy lines in matching colours
and finished by stamping the Thank You in matching colours on top.
I made a rainbow ribbon, using matching colours again and tying
in a knot. I finished with some wink of stella over the stamped colours.

Check out my product list below for more info.
