Boo...Eek!

It's the second week of my Halloween theme over at

This time I went with a scary Frankenstein head.
I inked up the background and stamped some bats
and wording. This was matted onto some black card.
I then stamped the image and cut him out to
add to my tag.
I finished with some linen string.

For my second tag I simply stamped the Halloween label
in the centre and then added the stamped bats around the edges.
I blended with some purple ink but it's not showing
at all in the photo.
It was mounted onto black card and I finished
it with some string and bakers twine.

Spooky Folio

I have a bit of spooky fun today with this mini Halloween folio.
It will hold 12 photos and I also included some
little booklets to record the Halloween fun games etc.
I did loads of stamping inside, creating some spooky scenes
and tags.

I didn't come up with this myself, it is from a tutorial
I found on YouTube which you can watch HERE.

I used papers from The Works, some Tutti Designs dies
and stamp sets from SU.

Beautiful Bouquet of love

I made a card to match my candle box tutorial from Tuesday.
I think it makes a lovely gift set!!

For the card I used Fresh Fig card for the base.
I matted a piece of Nature's Poem dsp adding three pieces of nature's twine,
which I separated into three strips so it wasn't so chunky.
I cut two framelit circles, one in fresh fig the other in whisper white.
The greenery was stamped in old olive ink onto the whisper white.
I then stamped the flowers in fresh fig, grapefruit grove and highland heather ink pads.
They were cut out and layered onto the stems using dimensionals.
The stamp set is Beautiful Bouquet.
and added some matching artisan pearls to finish.
I followed the design inside, using the second part of the matching sentiment.

Very quick and easy card!

Quick and easy gift box

I received a cute little soap bar from Lush for my birthday
but was very disappointed in the way it was presented and I know these products
are not cheap so why not give them in nicer packaging!
So anyway, I decided to package my own.
I definitely will buy some Lush products for presents throughout the year
so I will now have cute little boxes to pop them in.

I have made a tutorial which you can watch on YouTube

I have used lovely fresh fig card stock
teamed up with the gorgeous dsp from Nature's Poem
(available in the buy 3 get 1 free selection)
The stamp set is Labels to Love, stamped in Highland Heather ink
and punched using the everyday label punch.
I have finished them off with some Share what you love pearls
and some linen thread tied in a double bow.
I recommend wet glue and dimensionals for this project.

The measurements you will need for this size of box are:

Card stock - 5" x 7"
Score 5" side - 1", 4"
Score 7" side - 1", 3", 4", 6"

Dsp -  2" x 6 1/2" for belly wrap

Tags to love!

My project today is
Christmas Tags!
I love having handmade tags for presents but if I start Christmas too late
I never have any left for myself.
SO I AM PREPARED!!
I made these using the lovely stamp and punch set
Labels to Love which works perfectly with Everyday Label Punch
It has the nicest greetings and they are not just for Christmas.
You'll find Halloween, Christmas, Valentine and Thank You themed stamps in there.
I punch the tag shape using Scallop Tag Punch.

I have also used Crumb Cake card for my base
Under the Mistletoe DSP, Old Olive card,
Old Olive and Real Red Ink Pads
and finished them with Red Rhinestones and Linen Thread!
As you can see, on the back I have used the little stamp
To and From, perfect for a tag.
I did sneak the scattered star stamp from a stamp set called
Night in Bethlehem
and I will be showcasing a card using that set on Friday.
