Winter Scene

There is a new challenge up on
and the theme, chosen by  Michele, is
WINTER SCENES

My favourite stamp set, Winter Woods,
came out again. It lends itself beautifully to winter scenes.
I also used Dashing Deer and Nature's Beauty.

So I started by stamping the bare trees in balmy blue.
I then stamped the fir tree using pretty peacock.
I used my sponges to create some snowy layers.
I covered these in wink of stella
and also dipped it in the ink to create the little pathway through the trees.
I inked all around the edges and then stamped some falling snow.
Finally I stamped the deer in soft suede.
I finish it with a pretty peacock ribbon.

I would like to enter this into
