Advent Calendar project

My tutorial today is a couple of days early as I wanted

to fit in my mid month post for Stamping Sensations

on Wednesday instead.

This is really just a quick idea on how to make

Advent Pockets as opposed to advent boxes for a calendar.

You can watch my video here

I had wanted to try an advent calendar but seriously,

the idea of making 25 mini boxes, decorating them,

then assembling them to fit inside a book

was just a wee bit overwhelming!

Maybe next year!!

So I used my punch and punched out 25 red and 25 white,

which took a few minutes at most.

The belly bands where made from scraps of leftover papers.

The little Santa chocolates where from Lidl so I attached

a piece of string to each for easy removal.

I am pretty pleased with the finished design.

I would like to enter this into

Fezziwigs Festive Frolics - anything but a card

Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - anything goes

Crafting Happiness - anything but a card

Pammie's Inky Pinkies - anything goes

Kreativtanten - anything but a card

We have had our early morning walk and also been out

and got some shopping done and now
safely back in my craft room!
Hope you all have a lovely week ahead.
