Happy Monday!
I have been making St. Patrick's Day cards
for my family who all live
in England and Wales.
So I like to remind them where they came from 😁
This one is for my oldest Brother.
It's called a Corner Fold card and a first for me!
I have used
to create the shamrocks as I do not have a shamrock stamp!
The papers are from the
The sentiment is computer generated
and has been punched out using
The ink I used is called
and I finished it with a little bit of gold thread.
I would like to enter this into
So the noise is back in our area yet again.
From lockdown we have had Virgin Media
digging up the pathways then
we had the water board digging up the roads.
They then had to come back because they made a
mistake and now we have the gas people
digging up the roads again!
Seriously, I understand they have a job to do
but why does it have to start at 6am
and even go through the weekends as well!
The roads are in a total mess,
like a patchwork quilt and the noise!!😡😱
Morning Pinky, this is a new fold to me too, not seen before and its lovely, the shamrocks are fabulous, did you design and fussy cut they look amazing , its nice to remember where we come from isn't it. St Pat's used to be a big night when I was a kid, we lived in a pub and lots of Irish around us, what a night that was.
ReplyDeleteHope the roads soon get sorted I agree its a nightmare, the noise and the dust alone, carry on crafting I suppose, take care.xx
Love your new fold Pinky,a gorgeous shade of green in your background paper and shamrocks
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and creative card Pinky lovely design too x
ReplyDeleteWonderful card, love the shape! Anesha
ReplyDeleteWell they have to use up what is left in their current years budget or loose it.! That’s tThe Docs theory anyway. Love this corner card which is a new one for me too. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteCute card. Love the shamrocks.
ReplyDeleteSorry about all the noise. We have a code enforcement rule in our city that no construction work can begin before 8:00 a.m. and has to stop by 6:00 p.m. They can work on Saturday but not on Sunday. People need a break from all that noise. [Bunny]
Fabulous make Pinky- love your shamrocks- clever idea! Haven't seen this fold before- looks great! The papers in the lovely shades of green are gorgeous, your brother will love this.
ReplyDeleteSo infuriating that workmen have to dig up the road one after the other- in an ideal world, in these days of technology and computers, you'd think some enterprising soul would come up with a plan so all the work could be done consecutively using the 'same hole' - think of the tim, expense and effort it would save- and the reduction in noise and inconvenience!
xx
Great card not seen a corner fold before love all the shamrocks. We always say if there is anything going on to make a noise it always starts at the crack of dawn!!!
