It's my turn to choose the theme over at
and I want to see you include books or book pages this fortnight.
For my tag I have used a very old dictionary belonging to my late Mum.
I decided to use it rather than hold on to something
I know my kids will throw out when I'm gone lol.
I cut the tag shape out then stamped the flower from
Penny Black - sunbursts.
I didn't use ink but did use some watercolour markers to
add colour to the stamp, then filled the image in where I wanted
extra colour.
The butterflies have been punched and layered up using the
double butterfly punch from SU.
It has been layered onto some garden green card (SU)
and finished with some ribbon and a sentiment strip
from Hunkydory.
I would like to enter this into
Your stamped dictionary background is gorgeous with the ribbon and butterflies

ReplyDeleteWonderful tag! Thanks for linking up last week at Crafting Happiness Challenges. This week the card theme is trees - it can be a forest, a leaf, a Christmas tree, etc. The Not a card theme is always anything goes and doesn't have to follow the theme. Hope you'll share more of your art with us! Sorry for the delay in commenting, but we've been in the process of moving and still trying to sort and unpack this week.
