I am guest designing at
this week and the theme is
Colours of Autumn.
For my card I started out using the double aperture rectangle stencils
from Lisa Horton to create an autumn gold background (pumpkin pie).
I spritzed with water and mopped it up to get the speckled look.
I kept the stencil in place and stamped the trees and leaves from
a set called Autumn Days (simply cards & papercraft) in
early expresso ink.
The sentiments were also stamped in early expresso
and come from the same stamp set.
I finished by stamping a small leaf beside the bottom sentiment.
I would like to enter this into
So I had a great crafting day planned while Hubby
was away for 5 hours of golf and the golf has been cancelled!!
There goes my day lol.
Enjoy your weekend and thanks for dropping by!

ReplyDeleteThis might be a repeat Pinky, third attempt as Bloggers seems to be having a hissy fit this morning.
ReplyDeleteYour card is perfect for our theme this week, I know you have a thing for tree stamps but are you aware it's a known addiction in the craft world, I suffer from it as well.
Thank you so much for being our Guest Designer again at Allsorts, we really appreciate you joining us.

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful card, Pinky! The last of the leaves falling from the tree in preparation for its Winter nap. Just a bit of orange at the corners is perfect for indicating the time just between seasons. Great tree stamps!
