Country Flowers sympathy card

Happy Monday!
I made another card using my mini cards and yes,
another sympathy card.
I decided to fill the box with sympathy/thinking of you cards
as I am donating them to the carers who drop in to my
Mother-in-law's.

I used Country Flowers bundle along with some papers from the
Country Woods pack.
As I have a full pack of 12" x 12" vellum I am trying to use it
in most of my makes at the minute.
It embosses beautifully too!

I used my rectangle dies and layered up the rectangles,
twisting for a bit of interest.
The flowers were stamped and lots of green and vellum leaves
were layered underneath them.
A bit of ribbon, pearls and a sentiment finished off the front.

So I followed it through inside!

I would like to enter this into

My poor hubby had been out to a golf competition on Saturday
and got hit just above his ankle with a golf ball flying at full speed!
How he drove himself home I do not know.
He is struggling to put his weight on it and it is badly swollen.
But he is a man and refuses to see a doctor nor take a pain killer!
Seriously!! Give me patience!!

  1. Sounds painful Pinky, but know just what you mean about them and doctors etc.

The velum strip is so effective and softens the look.
