Mini Album tutorial

As I had this paper pack out and want to make it disappear asap
I decided to make another mini album.
This one will hold photos of myself and hubby on
our recent travels to Donegal.

I did do a tutorial for this one if anyone fancies having a go.
But here is a quick look at the insides and you can find a link
to the main tutorial under the video on YouTube
or click here.

The spine is done differently and is a method I came across
a while ago on We R Memory Keepers but took it a step
further as I didn't like how it looks inside.
It was another great stash buster though and I am pretty pleased
with the finished book. I now have three minis under my belt!!

Measurements I used
Pages - five pieces at 6" x 4"
score in half and make a 2" slit down middle
Accordian piece - 12" x 2" - score on every 1"
Closures, make 5 - 2 1/2" x 7/8"
Inner pages - make 5 - 4" x 3", fold in half
Cover - 6 1/2" x 4"
score from 3" to 3 1/2" on every notch
Ribbon - two pieces at 7" long

Sounds like a lot of work but I got this album made,
photos printed and decorated in about four hours.

I would like to enter this into
Pammie's Inky Pinkies - anything goes

For some reason Blogger is not letting me link  Pammie's Inky Pinkies
in the usual way.
Anyone else struggling with this?

I have been struggling with my eyes this past month so
went for an eye test. Need varifocals apparently!
Fingers crossed I get on with them!!
Have a great weekend everyone.

  5. I love these little mini albums you've been creating Pinky, I'm planning to give it a go when I come back from holiday, I think they make wonderful gifts.
Hope the new specs help, I think varifocals can take a bit of getting used to- but then they're great.
