All about Mum

I finally finished my biggest album yet!
I started this way last year and it was so big I had
to keep taking breaks and go back with fresh eyes
every month and now it's finally finished.
It is all about my Mum and her family and life
with whatever photos I had.

I decided to use some beads again along the spine
and I went with a snap closure as it is so jam packed!!

I also reinforced the corners with some metal corner edges.

The papers are really really old and the front even
faded over the year while I was working on it lol.
You can watch a quick walk through below

You will see some of my previously made tags throughout the album,
and one from my lovely friend Brenda too.
I thought they added a nice splash of colour here and there.
I also used a stamp set called Flourishing Phrases (SU), flowers, leaves etc throughout
and the album and some rub ons too.

  1. What a lovely album Pinky, has a really feminine feel to it and such a lovely tribute yo your Mum and family. I love looking though old family photos but admit never made a journal, closest I've come is making something for one of our boys when he went off to Unit.

  2. WOW what an amazing album love all the photographs and different pages. My Mam had dementia and sadly in the early stages and before we actually knew, she had destroyed all the family photos so I have maybe only a handful that I actually had!

Oh, WOW Pinky, what a fantastic album with so many features and tags and pockets and I LOVE the waterfall part, fantastic book..I have no photos really, of my Mum, she went all septic once and threw the albums away, she was going through a rough part of her life, such a shame..but I absolutely love this design, fabulous.
