It was our Grandson Sean's 11th birthday last week
and as always, I like to make a box of some sort to gift
him some money and of course chocolate!
He is very much into his Gaelic and supports Man United
FC so I went with the football theme and their colours.
Inside it holds two bars of chocolate and a loop in the middle
allows you to pop in some money.
It closes using some Velcro dots.
You can watch the tutorial here
Measurements needed to make one
Card - 7" x 4 4/8"
Score long side at 3" and 4"
DSP to decorate
two pieces at 2 6/8" x 4 2/8"
one piece at 6/8" x 4 2/8"
Pockets - two pieces
5 4/8" x 2 2/8"
Score at 2/8", 4/8" on 3 sides
Money Band - 1 7/8" x 5/8"
Score long side at 2/8" on both sides
Closure - 7/8" x 2 6/8"
DSP - 5/8" x 2 4/8"
I used a stamp set from The Stamp Man called Football Mad.
Everything was stamped then coloured with markers.
The papers are called Delightfully Eclectic (SU).
I would like to enter this into
pockets, patterned paper
This is a fabulous boy gift, and beautifully made. Hugs!
