Varied Vases Birthday Card

My card today is a commission for a lady to give to her friend.
I hadn't played with Varied Vases for ages so wanted to have a go
and this is what I came up with.

How I made this card
1. My base is an a5 card so my mat measures 5 1/2" x 8".
I cut this piece at 2" down and turned to used other side.
I laid them together again, added double sided tape to join and covered
with the ribbon.
I adhered this to my base card.
2. Cut 3 pieces of the cake crumb side measuring 1" x 2 1/2" long
and punch tails at the bottom of each.
3. Cut a whisper white rectangle in the 3 1/2" wide rectangle die.
Stamp the sentiment at bottom using memento ink.
Make yourself some masks of your chosen vases using sticky notes.
Stamp onto your whisper white using masks before stamping back vases.
Punch 3 in matching papers and colour back ones using old olive blends.
4. Using the masks again stamp your chosen flowers in place
and colour using blends.
Colour area around the vases in grey blends.
5. Apply dimensions to back of whisper white rectangle.
Before sticking in place, position your 3 tails as in photo above.
6. Add some faux stitching using a chalk pen to all crumb cake areas.
7. add a matching bow to top.
8. Either stamp or type your greeting and punch out using the
classic label punch. Add to card using dimensionals.
