Face to face

It's the second week of our challenge theme FACES,
chosen by Wendy over at

I had a bit of fun this time round, using an
Art Impressions stamp called
Comfy on Couch set.
One of the ladies didn't make it though lol.
I have coloured them up with promarkers
and added a sentiment from the same set.

Let's face it!

Unfortunately my husband, daughter and myself have

come down with the dreaded COVID!

Me and my daughter have felt really ill this past few days

but today see a tiny improvement!

Husband has just been hit bad with it today.

I would not wish it on anyone and my heart

goes out to those who got it in the very first round!

Thankfully it didn't hit the week of the wedding!

Our new challenge theme at

TAG TUESDAY

has been chosen by Wendy

and she wants to see FACES.

I had to have a good hunt before I found this set that came

free with a magazine years and years ago.

Think it is from Visible Image but not sure.

I stencilled the background in pale green then stamped

the image on top of it.

With a sentiment stamp, I filled in the gaps

and then added colour to the flowers.

I finished with a eyelet and two words.

Stamping for Spring

For my mid month project over at

Stamping Sensations

 I have used

Good Morning Magnolia stamp set.

Stamped and gold embossed, then water coloured

using my aqua painter with granny apple green,

old olive and polished pink ink pads.

I then water coloured the background using balmy blue.

Using the wink of stella brush I coloured the flower,

then splattered the whole card using the tip of the brush.

It doesn't show up well in the photo but nice and sparkly

in real life.

The sentiment is from Silhouette Scenes stamp set,

stamped in polished pink.

I mounted onto matching card and then to my base card.

Don't forget we have a great prize up for grabs!!

Today we are sorting flooring out in my daughter's house.
Wish us luck!!

Busy, busy, busy!

I put together some treats for my Grandsons for
St. Patrick's Day.
They each got a bottle of apple juice,
bar of chocolate and pack of sweets.
I used the lovely pack called
Gnomes patrick from Nitwits.

I am still very busy here, hence not posting a lot.
My daughter got her house keys so we are slowly shifting
her stuff up there.
As usual, no family about to help lol.
Two of my boys are working late each day,
one has his family away to Lego Land for the school break
and my daughter-in-law has covid!
So you can imagine!

I did finish the wedding invites and table settings.
This is a terrible photo but it shows the
cutlery wraps and some table favours.
Will try get a descent photo of the invites soon
but they are in the same colours as the dice box above
and come in a vellum envelope with a wax bee seal.

Hopefully things will be back to normal by the 12th of April.
Thanks so much to everyone who leaves me comments,
it's lovely to read them and they keep me going!

Spring Tag

It's the second week of Michele's challenge theme

This week I have gone with a spring theme

with a plant pot and basket of flowers.

I have used Basket of Blooms,

Fable Friends and Love you to Pieces stamp sets.

They have been coloured up using blends

and the ink pads used  are polished pink, bumblebee,

old olive and granny apple green.

I added some designer paper to the base

and finished with a bit of old olive and gold ribbon.

I have used Driving By and Hello Ladybug stamp sets.

Inks - so saffron, balmy blue, highland heather and soft sea foam.

Spring at Stamping Sensations

Front view

Side view.

And it folds flat!

It's time for our March challenge over at

STAMPING SENSATIONS

and this month the theme is

Stamp Something For Spring!

We have a lovely prize up for grabs so come and join us.

For my card today I have used a lovely new die set from
Card Making Magic called Flower Box & Card.
I have cut the base out using Soft Seafoam card,
layering it up with white and blushing bride card and some paper
from sunshine and rainbows paper pack (SU).
I then stamped the tulips, stems and leaves from
Timeless Tulips stamp set using soft seafoam,
fresh freesia, pale papaya, rococo rose and old olive ink pads.
Each piece has been cut and added to the card.
I die cut some butterflies from the Brilliant Wings dies (SU).
The sentiment is from Dressed to Impress stamp set (SU).
I made a little bunch of tulips to embellish the front
and added a little felt bow. Some wink of stella has been added
here and there for sparkle.

A perfect card for my Mother-in-law.

I hope you get time to come and join us and who
wouldn't want to win that fabulous prize!!

Can you believe it's the 1st of March already!
We have so much happening in April and May
this year that preparations are well under way.
My daughter's Civil Partnership is on 7th April,
two Grandsons celebrating birthdays mid April,
my son will be 40 on the 21st April.
My eldest Grandson is being confirmed on Easter Saturday
along with my youngest Grandson being Christened.
Then in May my daughter in law turns 40
and my Grandson Sean makes his Holy Communion!
So lots of crafting to do.
Wedding invites are nearly finished (very small ceremony).
My list of cards is forever growing lol but
it will be so lovely to have all these celebrations and joy
in the midst of what's happening around the world!
