ATC for Spring

As some of you know Tag Tuesday has now closed.
We are all very sad about it but with the owner of the blog
missing in action it just seemed like it was time to go.

I loved making tags and will miss that so I went hunting
for a replacement and decided to make an ATC instead.
They are great for trying out different techniques on
a smaller scale and can be slipped into books,
photo albums, journals etc if you don't want to swap them.

So the theme for this challenge was Spring so
I used my Daffodil Daydream stamp set(SU) to
create my ATC.
The flowers and leaves have been stamped and coloured.
The background was coloured using my blending brush
and I then stamped some little dots like Spring rain.
I added the sentiment from Fable Friends stamp set (SU),
punched using my oval punch and some faux stitching was added.
I finished with a stamped butterfly from same set.
Everything has been coloured using my markers.

Shamrock gift box

Happy Monday!
We have enjoyed such a beautiful sunny weekend.
I hope you all had the same!
Fingers crossed we don't get the freezing cold weather
they are saying is coming next week!

Anyway I have created a larger version of my KitKat box
I made a few years ago.
I love the button slider opening but needed a bigger box
for St. Patrick's Day and for a birthday.

This is the inside and you have a 4" x 4" x1" deep box
in the centre so it will hold treats, socks,
scarf etc for sure.

You can watch my tutorial here

Score long side - 4", 5", 9", 10"

Rosie with presents!

Another little girly card for a 3 year old.
For this one I used pretty papers from my stash (very old),
the image is from LOTV called Rosie with presents
and she has been coloured up using my markers.
I added embellishments from Nitwits
and finished with an organza bow.

Birthday card

My busy birthday month (April) is closing in fast
so I am trying to get ahead.

This card is for my eldest Grandson Oliver but this one is from
his Great Granny. So I need to come up with another version for him lol.

For this one I have used a Mo's Digital Pencil image.
The background papers are old ones from my stash,
and he has been coloured up using markers.
I added his age and a sentiment using Nitwits
and my computer.

Spring has sprung!

It's March already and time for a new challenge over at
where the theme is Hello Spring!

We have a lovely prize up for grabs so be sure and join us
with your beautiful stamping projects!

For my card I have used a stamp set called
Timeless Tulips (SU).
I used some old papers for the background,
embossed white card using a Plank embossing folder (SU)
and then stamped and cut my flowers, leaves and stems.
After gluing them in place I stamped
the sentiment and punched them out using my
double oval punch (SU).

Our new challenge them over at
has begun and the theme this month is
Welcome Spring!

Again we have a lovely prize up for grabs
so be sure and join us!!

For my Welcome Spring card I have used a stamp
from Penny Black Slapstick called Soft Spoken.
I die cut squares in yellow and smaller ones in white
and stamped the flower head, off setting in each square.
I coloured them up with markers.
As this is a large card I cut out some yellow for the base
then ran a slightly smaller mat through an embossing folder
from Sheena Douglas on the top half
and used my embossing board to add lines to the bottom half.
After layering up my squares I positioned in the top half
and added a bow and stamped sentiment.
As it still looked a bit bare I added some gold gems.

I also finished the inside of this one
stamping the flowers along the bottom and colouring.
