Halloween Hooligans!

I was getting a little treat bag ready for

my Granddaughter Aimee so instead of

making her a card I went with a bag topper.

The image I used is from LOTV called

Cute Witch! Perfect for our wee 2 1/2 year old

Granddaughter lol.

I made a background using a Nitwits download

called Halloween Hooligans, along with

a cute frame from the same set.

She has been coloured up with markers.

I added some black pompoms around the frame

before adhering to the bag

and finished with some Halloween ribbons.

It's  my MIL's birthday this month, 87!!

and I always like to make a shaped card so

I went with this stair card shape or block card,

not sure what it's called.

I used papers from Debbi Moore

and the sentiments and flowers are all from

I had a little play with my snippets today

and made this little notebook with refillable

space when done.

The leaf has been coloured using oxides.

I used string for the closure.

The wording was stamped using

It's time for my midway card for our

theme of SHADES OF AUTUMN over at

WE LOVE STAMPING.

We do have two lovely prizes from

Sweet Poppy

For my card I us a mix of gingham papers

from my stash for the base.

I punched four leaves in the corners

and added some orange marker to my base

so that it would show through the spaces.

I then die cut a circle and stamped the

wreath shape using Floral Wreath stamp set,

coloured up with markers.

I then stamped the little hedgehogs and

coloured them up too.

The word came from another set called

Hugs & Blooms.

All these stamps are from CreateKrafts.

For my tag I made a little scene for my fox.

I used Nature's Beauty and 

Stylish Sketches for the fox and brambles.

The background was made using oxides

with a mask for the moon.

I coloured it up with markers.

I finished with some thread and wool.

For my ATC I had fun with a bit of mixed media.

I inked up the background using oxides.

I then stamped on top using Woodware Collage text

stamp and another set from Globleland.

I added gold embossing powder and bronze glitter

around the edges.

Next I stamped the hedgehog using a set

called Henry Hedgehog from CreateKrafts

and coloured him up with markers.

I punched a few leaves and coloured them up

for him to sit on.

I splatted here and there using white lie

Stella Paste and finished with some

sticker words in black (HD).

Shades of Autumn

Our new challenge theme over at

WE LOVE STAMPING

is shades of Autumn or anything goes.

For my card I started with an orange background

and a white mat to go over the top.

I started by die cutting my leave shape

in three places.

I stamped and white embossed my leaves

and coloured them with oxides.

Before I adhered my white piece to my

orange piece, I splattered the white with gold

ink. I then curled my leaves and stuck

them partially to the spaces so the orange

shows through.

I punched another few leaves and 

stuck in place and stamped and white

embossed a pumpkin.

I stamped my sentiment to finish.

The stamp and die set used is called

Gather Together (SU).

Autumn

It's October already!!

So time for our new challenge theme over at

Tag-along (and ATC's).

Brenda has chosen the theme Autumn leaves/colours

and of course you can go with

anything goes if it suits you better.

I used an oval tag from Tonic Studios.

I covered the base using a stencil from

The Works and oxide inks.

Next I did some embossing with an SU stencil

and paste for added texture.

I inked around the edges in orange and let it dry.

I then stamps my large leaf and die cut it

using an old Su set called Gather Together.

It was coloured using oxides.

I then die cut two smaller leaves and

coloured them the same way.

I layered them all together on top of

some fibres and then splattered the tag

with some white ink.

I finished with a sentiment and some

ribbons stapled in place.

them in gold.

Around the edges I did some doodling.

Next I stamped the pumpkins (Gather Together SU)

and coloured

them up with markers.

I die cut some leaves and coloured them

with oxides.

Put everything in place and finished with

a sentiment gold embossed and then

coloured with oxides.

Hello Autumn

Finally my journal page for the September theme

over at Art Journal Journey

which is Hello Autumn.

I used some paper from IndigoBlu for my background

and to this I stamped some corn,

and coloured it with acrylic markers.

Next I did some stencilling with embossing paste

doing pumpkins along the bottom

and dots in the top corner.

I added some stamping here and there and

inked around the edges. I also added

some marks with an orange acrylic pen

around the edges.

I then stamped and die cut my pumpkins and leaf

and added them to the centre of my

page along with some gold mesh.

I added some acrylic colour to the pumpkins

and dots when the  embossing paste was dry.

Butterfly tag and pocket

I came across a tag and pocket like this

on Facebook made by Els Ham.

I couldn't find a tutorial so had a go myself.

I used papers from SU, some butterflies

from AAll & Create.
