Spring Tulips!

Happy Monday.
Today I am sharing my midway post for our challenge over at
where the theme is Spring!

We have some great prizes too so great incentive to join us!!

For my card I went with a daffodil delight base.
I matted it with a piece of white card which I ran through
with an embossing folder.
The tulips where stamped using daffodil delight and granny apple green inks
and the tulip heads where raised up.
The sentiment was stamped and fussy cut.

I hope you can come and join us!

Scrappy Friday

My Scrappy Friday video shows how to use up some scraps
by following a sketch with lots of layers.

I found this sketch over at Cheerful Sketches and thought it
would be a great beginner look into using sketches
to use up your lovely designer papers.

You can watch my video here.

I made a St. Patrick's Day card with my scraps
and retired stash.
The stamp set is called Lucky Clover (R).

St. Patrick's Day hat!

My tutorial today is an oldie but a goodie.
I had been putting off making these for a few years but
finally caved.
I started off with four for the Grandkids and stupidly left
them on the hall table with their other goodies.

Someone spied them and requested 13!!
So I had to get a little factory line going to get them done lol.
The shamrock punch I have had for years and it is from Woodware.

Rabbit or hare

It's the second week of my theme
bunny or hare
over at

I had a piece of card lying on my desk with that lovely
cut curve at the end so I decided to use it for my tag.
I punched two holes down the length then ran it through
with an embossing folder for some texture.
I raised it up and stuck to the lovely gingham paper.
The bunnies, carrot and butterfly were stamped, coloured
and cut then tucked in to each of the circles.
I finished with a chopped sentiment and a bit of ribbon.

I hope you get time to join in the challenge.

Sympathy fun fold card

This is the third sympathy card I made recently for some friends.
The funfold is a die from Tattered Lace
and I have decorated it with Forever Fern stamps and dies
and an added daisy from my daisy punch.
I used soft tones of lilac and greens and added some pearls.

Hare or rabbit

It's my turn to choose the challenge theme for
and as it's March and Easter is coming this month I decided to go with
hare or bunny!

For my first tag I used a lovely paper that had oval floral wreaths on it.
I spent a bit of tag cutting around the flowers then stamped,
coloured and cut my bunny out.
He fitted perfectly in the centre of the oval and I finished him
with a little linen bow.
The sentiment was stamped in daffodil delight ink
and matted onto some old olive card.

I hope you get time to play along with my theme.
