We all scream for ice-cream!

Happy Monday!

My card today follows sketch 12 in

Kendra's Card Challenge.

This time I have used

Sweet Ice Cream bundle

Polished pink card and ink,

soft suede, grapefruit grove and petal pink inks.

I added lots of glitter glue

and the background was stamped using

the little sprinkles stamp from the same set.

Sketch 12 - Birthday butterflies

This is sketch 11 from

Kendra's Card Challenge 2

This time I have gone with night of navy

and polished pink card to tie in with the

butterfly bijou papers.

I used a tiny little die that embosses a brick finish

from the Brilliant Wings dies on the pink card.

The two butterflies were also created

using the same die set.

I stamped a large Happy Birthday

from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set

in night of navy ink.

So quick and easy!!

ATC 5

As I had the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set on my desk

I decided to use it for my ATC this week.

I stamped the lolly pops using

Blackberry Bliss and Lemon Lime Twist ink pads.

I wouldn't mind a lolly with those flavours!!

The sticks were stamped using crumb cake.

I inked up the background using pale Papaya ink

then stamped rows of dots using

blackberry bliss, pale papaya and lemon lime twist inks.

I inked off the edges in black and stamped

the sentiment in memento.

I added a touch of wink of stella for some sparkle.

It's my birthday today, the sun is shining and

later today myself and Hubby are heading to

Carlingford to have our tea (we'll bring a picnic and flask)

by the sea!

Sweet Ice Cream Gift Box idea

I have a load of family birthdays

during the month of April

so decided to gear my tutorial towards little

gift boxes that would suit anyone.

It has been freezing cold here but thankfully

I got a text to say the oil will arrive today!

How did our parents cope with nothing other than a fire

and probably oil cloth on the floors!!

Ice Cream Corner Monochromatic

Our challenge for March, over at

STAMPING SENSATIONS

has started and the theme is

Monochromatic!

For my card I have used the lovely papers from the

Ice Cream Corner pack

along with some from the Oh So Ombre pack.

I added some blackberry bliss ribbon across the centre.

The centre panel has been made using

blackberry bliss card.

You can see in the photo I made it so it

sits out from the card, kinda pops up when you take

out of the envelope.

I stamped the lollipops using the 

Sweet Ice Cream stamp set

and blackberry bliss ink pad.

I added some wink of stella to the lollipops.

The sentiment was stamped then punched

using the classic label punch.

I finally stamped the Happy Birthday,

cut it out and added to top of card.

The white dots were leftover from one

of my Stampin' Up! kits.
