Lap blanket

Another lap blanket finished and away
to it's new home.

I wasn't fussy on the mix that this wool gave me
this time round. The pink version had a
much smoother colour change
but it finished up all right.

About to start on a daisy granny square one now.

This was my practise one as I have never
crocheted a flower before.
I will do a different colour in the centre of
the flower for the rest of them.
I won't be rushing it, just something
for filling in days when I'm not
crafting....Maybe I should be doing
housework then lol??

Baby blanket in pinks

I've been doing a bit of crochet again recently.
I making some baby blankets
for our local St. Vincent de Paul shop.
One in this colour and the next one will
be in blues.
I just used the Suzette stitch which doesn't use
up too much wool and made a picot border
to finish it off.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Fluffy and soft!

I got this fluffy wool from B & M recently.
It was so so soft and I was dying to make
a wee blanket for my Granddaughter Aimee.

The wool was extremely hard to crochet with
so I got out my knitting needles and used them instead.
I did a deep band with the fluffy wool
then broke it up with a soft white wool.
Probably not the best idea but it worked out ok.

And thankfully it past the Aimee test 😂
She loves all things soft and cuddly.

Dentist went well with neither of us needing work
other than a clean and polish 😁

Rotten rainy day today. Had a quick nip out to Lidl
and back. Could hardly see through windscreen the rain
was that heavy!!
Have a lovely weekend and get well wishes
to all who need it.

Worry Worm!

Not a card but I did stamp the background with my crackle paint stamp.
I have been crocheting some Worry Worms to give out
to my customers. I think they are a lovely idea, and perfect
for little people and adults alike.
Though I do state to keep away from kids under 3 because of
the wiggly eyes. They are hot glued on but kids are pretty
good at dismantling things lol.
I am not great at crochet but like having a go and
these took minutes to crochet!
You are supposed to hang on trees etc as random acts of kindness.
