Mid way double!

It's time for my midway post for our theme of
nature - flowers/birds/animals or anything goes at

Remember we have a great prize up for grabs so be sure and join us!

For my card I used a rectangle mask from Lisa Horton Crafts
and inside the rectangle I added some green, yellow
and orange inks, blended together.
I then stamped the flower and sentiment from a Hero Arts
set called Things we Love.
The flower has been coloured with markers.
I added some little dots and splodges using a set called
Hello Ladybug (SU).

I am so sharing my mid way post for
where the theme is favourite stamps + add lace or ribbon.

The prize up for grabs is this!!
So please come and join us!

For my card I have gone with an Easter theme
using a cute little family of ducks from a
stamp set called Fable Friends (SU).
Definitely a firm favourite with me!
I cut some gingham paper to fit my card along with
some white ribbon, and ran
it through my sewing machine.
I die cut a rectangle in white and added some
grass using a small stamp and some green markers.
I then stamped and coloured my ducks with markers
and cut them out by hand.
When I had added them to my card front
I stamped the sentiment and used my oval punch
to layer it up and stuck in place.

My tutorial this week shows how I made these cute little

Very quick and easy but so cute.
Would be great as party treats for any time of year.

My tutorial today shows how I made this wreath card
using a mix of Christmas and non Christmas stamp sets from my stash.
I have fancied it up with some ribbon, pearls and sparkly gems.

Colours of Autumn

I'm a day late with my midway post but I am sure you won't mind.

Our October theme over at
is Autumn Colours or anything goes option.
Of course we have two lovely prizes up for grabs

So I have gone with green and yellow for my card.
As I had my basic border dies out this week I decided to make another background
using  old olive and crushed curry card stock.
The flower was stamped twice from the Hello Ladybug set, in
crushed curry ink with a bit of wink of stella to add some sparkle.
It was layered up and finished with a gem.
The leaves were stamped and die cut, then inked around the edges.
I also added some wink of stella to them.
I had cut my white card at an angle using the basic border dies,
arranged my flower and leaves and finished with some
trim around the top edges.
I stamped and die cut two more smaller leaves
to add to the card to look like falling leaves.
The sentiment is from Biggest Wish.

Our leaves in the garden are mostly still green and just ever so slightly yellowing.
Autumn will probably come overnight all of a sudden lol
or maybe we will skip autumn and go straight to winter!!

I hope you get time to join us this month!

Falling leaves

Our new theme over at
has been chosen by Valerie and she wants to see
Autumn Colours!

I made another faux plank background for my tag base,
stamped and cut some leaves from Hello Ladybug in nice
Autumn colours and layered on my tag.
I stamped and chopped up my sentiment and added
to the leaves and finished with a little big of gold thread
on the yellow leaf.

I just noticed I have the backing of one of my dimensionals
stuck in the top corner of my tag! How did I miss that 😂
