Colours of Autumn

It's the second week of our theme
Colours Of Autumn
over at

For my tag today I had a play with some stamps and colours to make
my background. There are some little gold flecks
flicked here and there but they do not show up in the photo.
The leaves have been die cut in coloured card then
inked around the edges and stuck in place.
I stamped the sentiment and cut round it.
The tag has been finished with a stapled ribbon.

Hope you get time to come and share your beautiful tags with us.

Recycling at Tag Tuesday

It's the second week of our recycling challenge over at
Have you joined us yet???

I saved this box from our rubbish.
It held a load of plum tomatoes and now it's living
the good life as an autumnal tag!

So I cut the bottom into my tag base.
I then stamped my crackle paint stamp in early expresso ink.
I used my brushes to ink round the edges and then punched a hole
for the ribbon (cinnamon cider).
Next I stamped the sentiment in pumpkin pie ink using
Statement of the Heart stamp and cut it out using
I inked around the edges using early expresso ink.
Next I cut some leaves out (gathered leaves dies)
I inked the edges of each and displayed as you see on the tag
I'm pretty pleased with the natural look it has and the tomato
box was made of really sturdy cardboard.
