Hello little one

It's the second week of our celestial themed challenge over at

I used my Bokeh Dots stamp (SU) again for the background,
this time in starry sky ink and coloured in some stars.
The baby image is from Stamping Boutique which I coloured
with my markers and cut out to fit on the tag.
The sentiment is from a stamp set called Little Elephant (SU)
which I stamped in black ink then coloured the background
to match the moon.

I hope you get time to play along this week!

Another overcast day today but at least it's dry.
We had our Granddaughter for 3 hours yesterday and seriously
all I can say is how did I do with for four kids lol.
Totally wrecked going to bed last night.
Enjoy your day everyone and thanks for stopping by.

Little Elephant baby card

Happy Monday!
I hope you all enjoyed your very quiet
Easter Weekend.
Did you get some chocolate??
I enjoyed some which I am sure I will regret later lol.

This card was made following a sketch challenge over on a Facebook
group called Card-making & Papercraft Ireland,
which I am a member of.

I did make it for a new arrival into our family circle
but unfortunately it will be a while before we get to meet her.
I will probably add a nice bow before handing over.

The sun is shining but it is so cold out there!

Little Elephant's big day!

My Tuesday Tutorial shows how I made this cute box
to hold 30 Baby Shower invites for one of my customers.
I was bold and used some retired product but it would work
equally well with any colour way.

I was asked to go green as they don't know the sex of the baby yet.
Exciting times ahead for them all!!

Stamping Sensations May Challenge

It's time for our May challenge over at
and this month the theme is
In an English Country Garden!
So get those scenery, floral, garden stamps out and have FUN!
As usual there is a lovely prize up for grabs and this challenge is sponsored by

Two beautiful stamp sets will go to the May winner!
Check them out on Stamping Sensations challenge blog.

How I made my card
1. I cut a piece of whisper white for my stamping base, to fit my card.
2. I stamped the tree, the swing, then the blossom and added some deeper pinks and greens.
3. Next I stamped the green grass and added to it by sweeping with the same
ink pad to cover the bottom of the space.
4. I stamped some blossoms at the right hand side and drew in some leaves.
5. Next I punch some crumb cake and made a fence by cutting them in two
and arranging over a slim line of the same colour.
6. I stamped some blossoms, coloured with blends and cut out and added
to my fence using dimensionals.
I also stamped two little birds, one in the tree and one on the fence.
I drew some leaves and stems for each flower.
7. I took a mad notion to add some blue sky so got out my balmy blue ink
and some gesso and water and mixed it all up and painted onto the background.
7. I stamped the sentiment and chopped it, inking the edges and added to my card.
8. I finished with some wink of stella for a little bit of summer sparkle.
9. I matted this onto a piece of grapefruit grove card (which I dropped and dinted!)
and adhered to my base card.

I hope you get time to enter our challenge but do pop over and check
out the ladies with their amazing inspiration!
