Dressed to Impress

I had a card to make for my sister-in-law's birthday
next month so pulled out a retired set called
Dressed to Impress.
I stamped, die cut and then coloured all the elements
using markers.

I added a piece of scrap to one side, a strip of the green and
a piece of white which I cut with a spellbinders edge die
and slipped another piece of the green underneath.
I cut a bubble square from a set by Lisa Horton,
in green and a smaller one in white for my sentiment.
I used Biggest Wish stamp set in pink ink and added
some white dots when stamped.
All the die cut elements were arranged at the bottom
and I added her name too.
I finished the card off with a bow and some metallic pearls.

Scrappy Friday with no scraps!

Oh my goodness it's MARCH already!!!
Time is moving way too fast for my liking!

My Scrappy Friday card has no scraps on it today lol
but I did use my stashπŸ˜‚

I saw a card over on Pinterest which was made by someone
no longer blogging but I did like the look of the card
and decided to case the design, but with my stash.

Case a card!

I saw a lovely card via the CRAFT challenge blog made
by a lady called Judy V and instantly wanted to give it go.

I have used scraps from my Countryside Inn paper pack
and the flower is from the Paper Florists die pack.
Sentiment is from Biggest Wish stamp set.

You can watch my video tutorial HERE.

Bright and cheerful!

I had a December birthday card to make for a family member
so decided to have a little fun and make my own background
using a set of stamps I never thought of trying this technique with.
Nice little change from all the Christmas madness!!
Can't believe it's the 1st of December already.

I have a video showing the process which you can watch

It's soooo frosty and cold out there.
My Grandsons Sean and Tom are in a cross country race
for their school this morning!
It's great that kids just don't feel the cold lol.
Have a lovely weekend!

More leaves!

Another Saturday post.
I followed the sketch over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday
but it closes tomorrow so had to get this posted.
I flipped the sketch to suit my card.

The leaf background was made using one of my stencils
from the Abundant beauty masks with lots of nice
autumn ink colours.
I added some text from the gorgeous made stamp set
and the THANKS is from biggest wishes stamp set.
It is mostly in daffodil delight colours, so bright and cheerful.
I even made a matching tag with a leftover bit from the embossed masking.
It does look much nicer in real life as the leaves look 3d.

Here is a quick video showing the process

More dazzle!!

My video tutorial today shows how I made these cards.
It's a great way to use up some leftover papers.
The flower was made using  the Abundant Beauty masks,
just stencilling it twice and layering it up and adding the leaves.
The sparkle comes from that gorgeous paper called More Dazzle!
This one was done in berry burst colours.

You can watch my video tutorial here.

This one was done in pretty peacock colours.
