Peace at Christmas

I made another Christmas card!!
Only my third one but I did it lol.

I used papers from Anna Marie Christmas Jingle pad.
You can hardly see it but it was a musical
one.
I stamped my image using a stamp set called
Peace to You (SU) in red.
I tore the bottom edge and stamped my
sentiment from the same set.
Along the bottom edge I glued
some bits of my gold mesh and
inked areas of the plain white.
To the card base I stencilled using Sizzix
crystal paste and stencil from SU.
Around the edges I stamped the berries
from a set called Poinsettia Petals (SU)
and coloured the berries using red
acrylic pen.
I stuck my image in place and added a
bow using the mesh and pretty silk ribbon
I got from my crafty friend.
I finished with some red gems.

Peace to you

I have another card for my finally filling up
Christmas cards!
Remind me, if God's spares me, to NOT
leave it so late next year!!

This one was kept simple, ie, no bulk.
I used the red base card onto which I
added an embossed shape using a TL folder.
I added some ribbon to this before adhering to
my card base.
I then stamped the image using a set called
Peace to You (SU) in real red ink.
I cut around the shape and stuck on top
of the embossed card.
The sentiment is from the same set,
stamped in red and added with a tiny
bit of lift using thin dimensionals.
I did follow the design inside but
totally forgot to photograph it
and now it's sealed shut lol.

Two more to make now!!

Seasonal blues

I found a jar of paste in my go to drawer when looking for something else
so decided to have a play with it instead.

I used a snowflake stencil and the paste for my background
card and just love the texture it gives.
I stamped the lovely church scene and cut to fit in my oval
and added a sentiment and a little silver bakers twine
to finish.

Wild and windy here today so a bit of housework
and some crafting so I can catch up!!
Enjoy your weekend.

Peace to you

It's the second week of our 'anything goes' challenge over at
So I decided to get another quick and easy Christmas tag made.

This one was simply stamped onto white card and
cut to follow the shape of the stamp.
Matted onto a piece of white card and cut to the shape.
I finished it with some sparkle twine.
I did stamp a sentiment on the back and a punched out star
but totally forgot to photograph it 🙈

Spent the morning with my daughter and had
such a lovely catch up. So nice to get to chat again.
We both miss her from she got her own house in April
and even though she is only 5 minutes up the road,
we still don't see enough of her!!
Thanks for stopping by and making my day!

Welcome to my newest follower BRENDA!

Silent night.....

Happy Monday!

Today I had a play with the stamp set
Peace to You.
I used the church scene last week and this is the other larger
stamp you get with the set.

I used my layering rectangles for the layers,
then stamped the image and added some colouring using my blends.
Of course it would look just as nice left white.
There was just the right amount of space at the bottom
to add my sentiment.

What a miserable day we had yesterday.
It rained all day long, house was in darkness and so was my mood!
Thankfully today is brighter and I've got a bit of
get up and go!
Hope you have too. Have a great week!

Peace to you

I made a few CAS cards for Christmas
Thankfully these were quick and easy!!

I even took time to do the insides, so they are ready to
address and post and super flat to keep costs down.

For these cards I have used the little notecards and envelopes.
The stamp comes from a beautiful set called
Peace to You
and I have gone with night of navy ink and card with a little bit
of bumblebee ink for the cross inside.

I also added a little line of glamour dust along the edge of the image,
but hard to see in my photo.
