I am sharing my midway post for

STAMPING SENSATIONS

where the theme is

For my card I used a soft pink card and papers from an old

pack called Country Floral Lane (SU).

I stamped the jigsaw pieces from a stamp set called

Love you to pieces (SU) and the anniversary sentiment

is from a set called Elegantly Said (SU).

I used rectangle dies for the centre and double oval punch

for the sentiment and finished with some pearls.

For my card I used a set called

Woodland Wildlife and Be One with Nature

stamp and stencil set from Sheena Crafts.

I used the owl stencil to stamp my scene

and then used the owl mask to stamp the trees and

cyclist for the background.

This is for my son from his Granny and he is

a triathlete and does a lot of miles on his bike.

I added some colour using my markers and blending

brushes and finished by stamping Happy Birthday

and Grandson using Enjoy Life and Family Party stamp sets.

Jewellery gift box

 

I made this little gift box to match my purse

from last weeks tutorial.

The jewellery did not come in a very nice box

so I made one to suit.

I have used the same colourways but this time finished with a

belly wrap and a die cut butterfly. Inside is stamped using the

matching butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance bundle and

the sentiment is from Elegantly Said stamp set.

Be dazzling birthday card!

I am on sketch 5 from

Kendra's Card Challenge 4

and for this one I have added some sparkle from

these gorgeous papers called Be Dazzling

which I earned free during Sale-a-bration and hadn't

actually had time to play with!

I continued the sparkle and design inside too!

We were away all day yesterday helping my son and his family move.

Exhausting day but really enjoyed being in the thick of it.

The new home key was delayed by a few hours and

in the mean time we had moved stuff outside only

to have to rush it back in when a heavy shower came on!!

Finally got the keys and the moving began!

Think they had a rough night last night but hopefully

everything will settle down again soon.

We have Grandson Sean's birthday tomorrow.

Flowers of Friendship - Birthday

For my mid month inspiration over at

Stamping Sensations

where our theme is

FOR A LADY,

I have used Flowers of Friendship

to create the flowers on my card.

I had to do a lot of masking and colouring

but I totally enjoyed it and found it very relaxing

after a hard week helping my son to move.

The flowers have been coloured using my blends

and I flicked some of the ink when finished to create

a little colour in the white spaces.

The sentiment is from

Elegantly Said stamp set.

Elegantly said gift box

I had a go at making a circular box this week.

No video, as there was a lot of fiddly about with this one.

I made the measurements to suit my circle size and

it came out the perfect size to add some little tea light candles

or sweets.

The stamp set I used is called

Elegantly Said

and I just stamped in memento onto the

pale papaya papers and matched the lid

with pale papaya card and matching ribbon.

The lid has been finished with a cut out flower

and a little flower charm from the

Loose Flower Flourishes.

We had great fun with the Grandsons this morning,

exhausted now though lol.

Double Tag it!

 

Our challenge theme over at

TAG TUESDAY

has been chosen by the lovely Wendy and she wants to see a

tag on tag!

For my tag I have used the gorgeous new papers called

Simply Elegant.

Using the matching bundle called

Elegantly Said

I have stamped the flowers in bumblebee ink,

cut them out and arranged along the bottom of the large tag.

I punched the top using the scallop tag top punch and

added a ribbon.

I then punched out the smaller tag using the new punch

from the bundle.

I lightly stamped the flower image in bumblebee,

then stamped the sentiment in memento.

I added a bumblebee gem

and added the tag to the larger one.

I finished of by inking up a small piece of scrap card

using bumblebee ink.

I then stamped the same wording on top

and then punched out a small dragonfly

using the Dragonfly Punch.

ATC 2 - elegantly said

My second ATC uses the

Elegantly Said stamp set.

I am really enjoying this stamp set.

I inked up the card using bumblebee ink pad.

I then stamped using the large corner stamp

in memento, but not the whole stamp.

Just a bit on top and bottom.

I stamped the sentiment onto separate card.

Cut it at an angle and inked up the edges.

I am making a little pocket holder to keep these in

as I just haven't time to do swaps at the minute.

Hopefully have a video next week showing how to make it.

My Time to Craft - sentimental

So last night, just as we were heading to bed,

the electric and internet servers went down.

Total blackness everywhere lol.

It was great fun getting ready for bed and sorting the dog out!

It was off for about an hour and a half

which wasn't too bad really but very unusual

for everything to go down.

The end of the world is nigh!!! 😂

has been chosen by our lovely

and she wants to see Sports related tags.

I got a lovely new punch with the

Elegantly Said Bundle

and decided to make a little mini tag with it.

The stamp set I used is called

Do the Impossible, retired now, but perfect

for my family as they are all very sporty.

I have gone with a swimmer and tied it up

with bermuda bay card and blends.

I have finished it with some matching ribbon.

Tiny little tag but perfectly cute for a small parcel,

and I love the ornate top.

The new catalogue has gone live today.

If you haven't got a real life catalogue and

want to have a peep,

ATC 1

So I got some new craft items from the upcoming catalogue

and decided I would like to make ATCs for each of

my stamp sets to give me some inspiration when needed.

I used to make ATCs many many years ago and

I came across a group on Facebook and

was inspired to have a go again.

My first one uses

Elegantly Said stamp set.

I inked up the background using seaside spray and

bumblebee inks. Squirted it with water and mopped off.

I then stamped the border top and bottom.

The flowers were then stamped and coloured

with daffodil delight and granny apple green blends.

I stamped the wee butterfly lookalikes.

Not sure if they are butterflies but they looked

like it to me lol.

I finished with a sentiment, which I stamped crooked

so had to restamp and cut round it.

I finished by running a black marker around the edges.

So there you have it, number one done!

Elegantly Said at Tag Tuesday

This is the second week of our theme

ANYTHING GOES

over at

Tag Tuesday.

This week I have used a new stamp set coming

in the new catalogue next week.

It is called Elegantly Said and comes as a bundle

with a gorgeous tag punch.

I have used the stamp set for this tag.

I inked up the tag using polished pink and

pale papaya (new in-colours).

I then stamped the large corner in memento

and the flowers along the bottom too.

I stamped the flowers again in pale papaya

and cut them out to 3d onto my tag.

The small butterfly is from the butterfly duet punch,

sadly retiring.

Today is my darling daughter Charlie's 28th Birthday!

I can't believe my baby is that age but am truly thankful

that she is still living at home with us.

We will hopefully have the family round in turns

today to have some coffee and cake.
