Birthday card

My busy birthday month (April) is closing in fast
so I am trying to get ahead.

This card is for my eldest Grandson Oliver but this one is from
his Great Granny. So I need to come up with another version for him lol.

For this one I have used a Mo's Digital Pencil image.
The background papers are old ones from my stash,
and he has been coloured up using markers.
I added his age and a sentiment using Nitwits
and my computer.

Double angled pillar card!

I was inspired to make this card when I saw a lovely card my crafty friend
Carol made recently. Carol had followed a tutorial from Iced Images
for a right angled pillar card.
So I went to check it out and as I watched the tutorial this designed
popped into my head so I went about making a double angled
pillar card.
The first one I made is a 2" x 2" panel but I thought it stuck out too much
so I went back to the drawing board and came up with this one.

See how my pillar is half the depth of the previous one?
It also still folds flat even with the two angles
and fits into a 6" envelope.

I have a tutorial you can watch to make this particular one
with the double angles and smaller pillar

Little book of inspiration!

I made this little book for a little girl I don't see very often,
maybe just 3 times a year but she absolutely
loves to drop by and do some crafting with me.
So I thought this little book would be nice for her.
She is ten years old.

It is full of little quotes, butterflies and tags
with space to write little notes, some paper clips,
sticky notes and some cute page markers.

All tied up with some ribbon.

You can watch a quick run through here

Items used
Stamps: butterfly gala, yay you (SU)
Punches: butterfly punch, tag punch
Inks: memento, bubblebath

Accordion Journal with pockets!

I came across this great tutorial on YouTube from
It has accordion pockets on one side and
the opposite side flips into a journal style!
I'm a bit of a stationery lover so this was right
up my street!!

Perfect for saving money, receipts etc throughout the year
and keeping a log of your entries too!

I added elastic closure to mine and decorated it up with brads
and stickers from Bo Bunny (very old).
The papers I used are from Delightfully Eclectic (SU)
Stamps used are from EC month stamps and
I used an eyelet and elastic thread from my stash.

Football Crazy!

It was our Grandson Sean's 11th birthday last week
and as always, I like to make a box of some sort to gift
him some money and of course chocolate!

He is very much into his Gaelic and supports Man United
FC so I went with the football theme and their colours.

Inside it holds two bars of chocolate and a loop in the middle
allows you to pop in some money.
It closes using some Velcro dots.

You can watch the tutorial here

Stash Buster 1

As some of you know, I am in the process of using up a lot of
my stash making mini albums, cards and boxes.
So this weekend I decided I would hunt down
some very old tutorials by various artists,
which I will give credit to of course,
and remake them with my stash!

So my first one is from The Crafty Thinker from way back
in 2017. It had no video tutorial so I thought I would do one.

As you can see this makes up into a cute gift package for
some kit kat bars.
It uses one sheet of card and a strip of fancy paper.

You can watch my video here
