Puppy Love!

Happy Monday!
My first card of the week is this cute little dog stamp called
I stamped him at jaunty angles just for fun and really liked the end result.
He has been stamped using Memento
and just for a change I got out my water colour pencils and blender pen
and gave them all some shading.
I used some glycerine and pool party ink spot for my sky colour
using a hand made cloud template.
When I stamped the sentiment I split it up so I could pop a bit on each picture.
The name has been added using Make a Difference stamp set.
It was all stamped on Very Vanilla card stock and matted onto

Abstract Impressions day 1

I'm starting my week off with a splash of colour and flowers!
I got a brand new stamp set called
and this week I will be showing you some ideas for using it.

I used powder pink for my card base which is folded to a6 size.
I cut a band of Garden Impressions DSP
which is one of the sets on the buy 3 get one free offer,
and adhered to centre of my card base.
I then added two narrow strips of whisper white to either side of the dsp.
I cut a stitched circle in whisper white and using
I stamped them onto the diecut circle.
To finish I stamped the sentiment using lovely lipstick ink,
cut a tail at one side and added a little metal rose to the other side.
I was tempted to add a bow but thought it was fine without it.
The flowers are a two step stamp and I love the artistic impression it gives!

To COIN a phrase!

Who remembers this type of closure from years ago?
It used to be used on very important letters/documents and made it look very important, I think!
So why not put as a closure on a coin envelope for a VIP!

I loved making these little envelopes which I will use for my grown up kids for money
or gift card gifts!
They are simple to make and can be embellished as you like.

For my envelopes I have used:

I have a video showing how I made them
which you can find below.

Cutest tote bag ever!

Is this not the cutest way ever to give a money gift or voucher gift?

It measures 3 1/4" wide by 2 1/2" high (not including handles), and 1'' depth.
Perfect to hold money, chocolate, voucher etc.

This was so simple to make and I will tell you how to do it below.
I love how the inside is decorated perfectly to match.
The stamped words are from Tabs for Everything
and the Rose is from Inspired Events, leaves from Flourishing Phrases

So just get your 6 x 6 paper, score at 2 1/2" and 3 1/2"
Score your folds and at each side of those folds cut along the score line for about 2"
on each one.
Lay your paper out flat and fold the two taps you just made into the centre and glue.
Put glue down either edge of the bottom section and proceed to
curve these round the opposite sides to form the shape of the bag.
Stick in place.
Pinch either side of the bag top slightly, to help with the shape.
Cut two strips of matching dsp 1/2" x 6", curl slightly, add adhesive
to both ends and stick on as handles for your bag.
Punch a circle, stamp the wording, punch a scallop and 3d them together.
Punch a small hole through both and add some string to attach to handles.
You can now decorate as above or as you like yourself.

If you have a go, leave me a comment as I would love to come check it out!
