Double post!

Our August challenge over at
starts today and our theme is
Birds, Bees, Butterflies or anything goes.

We have two lovely  prizes up for grabs so
be sure and get your entries in,

For my card I stamped the flowers along the bottom
using Dragonfly Garden stamp set (SU).
I then stencilled the clouds at the top and
finished by stamped some bees using
Spring Bee stamp set (GL).
I added colour to the bees and flowers using my markers
then stamped the sentiment in the corner.
It was matted onto my pink card base.

Our prize this month is a £25 store voucher from Personal Impressions
(inc pps, winner meets costs of any additional spend).

For my card I used a stamp set called
Magic Garden (CC).
I stamped the flowers, coloured them with markers
and added some blue around the outline of the flower head.
I stamped some dragonflies from the same set.
I matted it onto my yellow card base
and then added a sentiment mounted onto the same
yellow and added to the bottom of the flowers.
It was finished with some gold gems.

Double day!

It's time for our midway post over at
where this month's theme is
summer blooms or anything goes.

We do have a lovely prize up for grabs so come and join us!

For my card I used set number 229 - blooming field
from AAll & Create.
The paper I used for the background is a very old one
from We R Memory Keepers. It's actually a 12" x 12" sheet
which I had to carefully cut down so I could get
that lovely frame to work for my a5 card.
I covered the joins with butterflies and it worked out well.
The flowers were stamped, coloured with markers
and cut out.
I stamped the sentiment below and added a ribbon
to the flower stem.
For the sentiment I punched  (SU) out the shape twice,
once in cream and again in pink.
I added some tails of the same ribbon underneath
the sentiment.
To finished I added some sequins to the butterflies.

It's also time for our midway post over at
and the theme is sun, sea, sand or anything goes.

We have a lovely prize up for grabs here too!

For my card I have used an embossing folder
from Crafters Companion called Charming Coral.
I embossed it onto blue card then ran my
white ink pad over the top to pick up the embossing.
The stamp set is called Marine Life
from Globleland (Amazon).
It's a one piece stamp so I stamped it out then
cut out and coloured up the ones I wanted.
I used a die cut circle for the centre, added
my sentiment from a set called Sending Support (SU)
then filled up the gaps with the shells.
Before sticking the circle in place I wrapped
the blue card with some netting.
I finished it off with the coloured up items.
