Double Up!

It's time for my midway post for
and the theme is
anything goes option hand colour your image.
Just remember to add some stamping!!

We have a great prize up for grabs too!!

For my card I used a piece of designer paper and added a
vellum overlay and then ran it through my sewing machine.
I then stamped the bird and leaves and coloured them
with markers and cut them out.
I arranged along the bottom of the card then
stamped the sentiment and punched it out with
a postage stamp punch and added some red dot detail.
I tucked it behind the leaves and finished with a ribbon.

Items used:
Stamp set - Free as a bird (SU)
Postage Stamp Punch (SU), markers,
vellum, sewing machine, retired papers (SU),
ribbon, enamel effect dots (SU).

For my card I went with a Teepee shape.

I went with a Velcro closure for this one.
The flowers have been stamped using a set called
Floral Essence. I punched the leaves
and the sentiment is from another stamp set called
Sweet Ice Cream.
The papers are called Country Lace.
I finished off the card with some gold sequence
and a piece of lemon lolly ribbon.

This little bag was made to hold a brush and comb set for my
Granddaughter Aimee.

It would make a lovely gift bag for a variety of items though.
I did use die cuts to add her name to the front but didn't photo that๐Ÿ™ˆ

where we have an optional mood board to inspire you.

We also have a lovely prize  from Crafty Individuals to the sum of £25
so be sure and get your entries in!!

For my card I was inspired by the pinks, bird and flowers.

I pulled out a retired stamp set called Free as a Bird.
The papers are new ones called Country Lace
and I used my blends to colour up the flowers and birds,
with added stencilled clouds.
The flowers and leaves were all hand cut and finished with a gem.

Baby Aimee's jaundice levels did not improve yesterday so she
was kept in for another night.
Just had text off her Mummy and she is getting home this morning
but has to go back at 8pm to get more bloods done.
Fingers crossed she is on the road to recovery!!
Both parents are totally wrecked as well as her Granny๐Ÿ˜‚

New catalogues have been posted out.
I hope they will arrived safely. If you would like one
just drop me a message.

Thanks everyone for the lovely wishes for Baby Aimee.
Unfortunately they let Mum and Baby home on Sunday even
though Aimee had spent a lot of time in light therapy as
she was a bit jaundiced.
Yesterday they got a phone call from hospital to rush her
back over immediately for more treatment!
She was kept in overnight and I am waiting to see if
she has improved.
So scary for brand new parents and us!!
