Something to crow about!

It's time for our February challenge over at
where you can go with ANYTHING GOES theme or join in with us and
try the ANIMALS/BIRDS/ CREATURES theme.

We have an amazing prize up for grabs so definitely worth
entering your projects!!

For my card I have gone with chickens!
I used the Hey Chuck stamp set and created a little scene
for three of the chucks.
I did a bit of masking so I could fit all three on the fence.
They have been coloured and then layered up onto
some gingham paper and pretty peacock card.
I finished it off with some pearlized enamel effects
and a cute sentiment.

I hope you get time to join us this month!

It has wings but can it fly??

It's the second week of Sandie's challenge theme WINGS
over at

This time I have gone with a chicken!! I know they have wings
but don't use them to fly but apparently then can use them when
jumping and can reach right high heights!!

This one comes from a stamp set called Hey Chuck.
He has been stamped and coloured and the sentiment
stamped around him along with some birthday squiggles.

I finished him with a brad instead of ribbon.

Hey Chuck

I have another tag for my challenge theme ANIMALS
over at TAG TUESDAY.

I have gone with Hey Chuck again, made a background
using stamps and embossing paste and stencils.
I stamped the fence and chicken, colouring them
then cutting them out to add to the tag.
I finished with a cut out sentiment and a piece of
ribbon stapled in place.
It was a fun tag to make for sure.

Rise and shine!

It was my turn to choose the theme for this fortnight over at
and I have gone with animals!

I made some more backgrounds using Gorgeously Made,
Foursquare Decorative masks and embossing paste.
I then stamped the chicken, coloured him up and cut him out
to 3d onto the tag. I added the sentiment and finished with some
ribbon stapled in place.

I hope you get time to play along.
Just add animals/insects/birds, whatever you have.
We will be so happy to see you there.

Hey Chuck!

I had so much fun making this card!
The background is stencilled to add a bit of interest
and the colours I used are lemon lolly and daffodil delight.

I even took time to finish off the inside to match!

We are getting our roof repaired next week. Big job and big money 🙈
but it needs done as we now have a leak in bedroom and
living room!
Have a great weekend everyone.

Patchwork Pieces

For my VIP Group this week I used a new set of dies called
Patchwork Pieces dies along with Hey Chuck stamp set.
I loved using both these sets. They make such fun cards
to cheer up a persons day.
Great way to use up those scraps too as you just need two pieces
measuring 3 1/4" x 4 3/4".

Woke up early today so had a lovely walk around the lakes
in the SUNSHINE!
Bit tired now though 😂
Busy weekend for hubby as he has golf tomorrow

who knows what mischief I will get up to when he's out!!
