Blue and green

Wendy has set the challenge for us at
and she wants to see us use blue and green.

Perfect colours for me as they are used together in
these papers (retired).
I put together the tag base using white card and my dsp.
I added a middle border in the green then
punched a postage stamp rectangle in green, then white
and did my stamped leaves and sentiment.
I added some handcut flowers and finished with some ribbon.

I hope you get time to join us this fortnight.

Happy Birthday Blooms

I have another card made for one of my gift wallets.
Today I followed the lovely sketch at
Try Stampin' on Tuesday.

I added some dry embossing to either side of my panel
and the papers are the retired ones from December.
I finished off the inside too with a strip of matching
paper and sentiment.

Seriously did not want to get out of my warm bed!
Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Birthday notecards

Friday 13th!! Who is superstitious!!
Not me lol.

For my newsletter in February I have a video showing how to make
a gorgeous wallet to hold some little note cards.
So I am not busy making the cards to put in said wallets!

My photo, as usual is crap but I am trying to find a spot that will behave for me.

For this card I have used framed florets bundle, soft succulent card,
some vellum which I embossed and my flowers have been
coloured using balmy blue blends and wink of stella.

Just wanted to say....

As I had these papers out this week (sadly retired now), I decided to try use them
up and covered some little notebooks I got in B & M a while back.
I covered the back and the front, using same colour as band on back.
The flowers were die cut from the papers and I stamped a sentiment
using Country Bouquet stamps.
I do love a notebook for keeping me motivated and organised
but I reckon they would make lovely gifts too.
I have added a little 'Friends' pen to each pack.
