Don't fret!

I have some midway inspiration for our anything goes
challenge over at

For my tag I used a piece of light green card for my base.
I added some yellow ink with my blending brush.
Then I stencilled some stripes in dark green
and stamped some script in black.
The leaf has been cut in dark green card and the
sentiment was cut from a scrapbooking paper set
from years ago.
I punched the corners to make my shape and
added some dark green gems and bakers twine to finish.

Items used
Gorgeously Made stamps and dies (SU)
Best trio corner punch (SU)
Stencil free with magazine.

Next I made an ATC  with a music theme.
I coloured my white atc base with yellow ink.
Then I stencilled the music notes in green
and stamped some music and sentiment in black.
I stamped the guitar, coloured and cut it out
and added to my atc.
I finished with some doodling and inked
around the edges.

Pretty tag!

Our new challenge theme over at
has been chosen by Valerie and she has gone
with anything goes!!
Easy or what!

I have gone with a pretty butterfly tag.
I started with a piece of white card and stamped
some text from Gorgeously Made stamp set.
I then inked it up using gorgeous grape ink.
I punched the top for the tag shape and then
added some butterfly stickers and flower stickers
from my stash.
I took it to my sewing machine and stitched all the
way round in white thread.
I then stamped the sentiment
and added to the centre.
The ribbon has been heated with my heat tool
to make it shrink and curl and I
attached it to the tag.

Vintage vibes

It's the second week of Sandie's theme of
vintage/old over at

This time I had a relaxing afternoon playing about with
inks, lace, handmade flowers and embossing.
I started off embossing the base then colouring it with
different colours of H2o's. I then added some hints of gold
using metallic rub ons.
Next I made some small flowers from white paper,
colouring them up using Twinkling H2o's in purples and blues
and when attached with a brad, I added some more of the gold
rub ons.
I cut a piece of lace, added the H2o's to it in blue
and stuck to the corner of my tag.
I then added my butterfly stickers and layered up
the flowers with some leaves.
I finished with some stamped sentiments and some pieces
of organza ribbon, coloured with the paints and heated
to make them shrink and curl.

I hope you come and join us. Pull out some old crafts stash
and scraps and have fun!!

Asemic writing...

Our new challenge theme over at
has been chosen by Sandie and she wants to see some asemic writing
on your tag.

( Asemic writing is a wordless open semantic form of writing.

The word asemic means "having no specific content" or "without the smallest unit of meaning" )

I started off stamping some script using  Gorgeously Made stamp set
which has a great asemic stamp in there.
I then inked up the tag using two shades of blue.
I die cut the leaves in black and stuck on top.
I then added some pearlized enamel effects dots here and there
and finished with a sentiment and some staples ribbon.

Went out for a walk and got caught in the biggest shower lol.

Scrappy Friday

My scrappy card today used up some 6" papers.
I just ripped them at different angles and
had a go at placing them together.
I added a die cut circle and some foliage cut using the
Gorgeously Made Bundle.

First sympathy card of the year!

Sad to be making a Sympathy card in the first few days of
the brand new year but what can we do.

I kept this one very simple and I do like the clean fresh
look it has.

You can watch my quick video here.

Lovely sunny but very cold day today.
Had a dander around the shops but just the same old
rubbish stuff in the sales.
I swear they hide stuff away just for the sales
that nobody will buy during the year 😂

Enjoy your weekend whatever you are up to!

Gorgeous made

My cards today were made to replenish my Sympathy stock.
A card we will always be sure to need!

I made two in different colours and even finished the insides too!
The first one is in fresh freesia.

The second one is in Lost Lagoon colours.

I do have a video tutorial for anyone interested.
You can watch it HERE.

More leaves!

Another Saturday post.
I followed the sketch over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday
but it closes tomorrow so had to get this posted.
I flipped the sketch to suit my card.

The leaf background was made using one of my stencils
from the Abundant beauty masks with lots of nice
autumn ink colours.
I added some text from the gorgeous made stamp set
and the THANKS is from biggest wishes stamp set.
It is mostly in daffodil delight colours, so bright and cheerful.
I even made a matching tag with a leftover bit from the embossed masking.
It does look much nicer in real life as the leaves look 3d.

Here is a quick video showing the process

I made another faux plank background for my tag base,
stamped and cut some leaves from Hello Ladybug in nice
Autumn colours and layered on my tag.
I stamped and chopped up my sentiment and added
to the leaves and finished with a little big of gold thread
on the yellow leaf.
