Happy Monday!

where the theme is birds, bees, butterflies or anything goes
with some stamping.

We do of course have two amazing prizes up for grabs
AND some lucky entries will be chosen for spot prizes
at the end of the month!
So get your entries in!!

For my card I have used my Woodland Wildlife mask and
Be One with Nature stamps from Sheena Crafts.
I coloured the stamped areas with markers and the sky
with my ink blending brushes.
The papers and embellishments were printed from
a Nitwits set called Po-cake mascu.
I also used a stamp set from SU called
Heartfelt Hellos for the sentiment.

This time I made a tag.
The stamp set I used is called Love What you Do (SU).
First I stamped the background shadow in pale blue then
I stamped the flowers over the top and
coloured them with markers.
I added a strip of lace to the bottom and stamped
the 'thank you' to one side.
I used a scrap of spotty ribbon for the bow and
added some little gems.

Double day!

It's time for our midway post over at
where this month's theme is
summer blooms or anything goes.

We do have a lovely prize up for grabs so come and join us!

For my card I used set number 229 - blooming field
from AAll & Create.
The paper I used for the background is a very old one
from We R Memory Keepers. It's actually a 12" x 12" sheet
which I had to carefully cut down so I could get
that lovely frame to work for my a5 card.
I covered the joins with butterflies and it worked out well.
The flowers were stamped, coloured with markers
and cut out.
I stamped the sentiment below and added a ribbon
to the flower stem.
For the sentiment I punched  (SU) out the shape twice,
once in cream and again in pink.
I added some tails of the same ribbon underneath
the sentiment.
To finished I added some sequins to the butterflies.

It's also time for our midway post over at
and the theme is sun, sea, sand or anything goes.

We have a lovely prize up for grabs here too!

For my card I have used an embossing folder
from Crafters Companion called Charming Coral.
I embossed it onto blue card then ran my
white ink pad over the top to pick up the embossing.
The stamp set is called Marine Life
from Globleland (Amazon).
It's a one piece stamp so I stamped it out then
cut out and coloured up the ones I wanted.
I used a die cut circle for the centre, added
my sentiment from a set called Sending Support (SU)
then filled up the gaps with the shells.
Before sticking the circle in place I wrapped
the blue card with some netting.
I finished it off with the coloured up items.

Double Post

Our July challenge has started at
and this month the theme is
summer blooms!

Our prize this month is just amazing
so be sure and get your entries in!

I have actually used one of these sets for my card today
called Sent with Love by AALL & Create.

I decided to go with a twisted card shape and made
a gift card pocket and card combined.
You can see the tutorial I used here.

My background paper is from We R Memory Keepers
and I started with that for my front and insides.
I stamped the script directly onto my paper
then stamped, coloured and cut the roses and leaves
and 3d onto my card.
The flowers were coloured with markers.

I stamped the smaller rose then cut and coloured it
and added to the inside.
The sentiment is from a set called Country Birdhouse (SU).

Our July challenge has also started over at
WE LOVE STAMPING
and the theme this time is
Sea and Sand!

We have a gorgeous prize up for grabs
so come and join us!!

As I had this card shape in my brain I decided to do one
for this challenge as well.

The papers are from We R Memory Keepers.
Again I used one sheet, flipping the paper to combine
the two designs.
I stamped the relaxing man (A Good Man SU), onto a piece of linen
texture card, inking the sky, sea and sand.
I stamped the man again and cut and coloured him
and layered on top.
Using another stamp set (Fun in the Sun WOJ), I added the crab and
sunshine.
On the left I made a sign post and added
my two sentiments.

Inside I stamped the sand castle from Fun in the Sun set
onto a die cut circle and coloured it in with markers.

Double Post

I'm sharing my midway post for our
furry friends theme over at

We have a lovely prize up for grabs so be sure
and get your entries in.

For my card I used a stamp set from Penny Black
called Ate the Candles.
I used a kraft card for my base and some
green gingham for the background paper.
A piece of green ribbon was stuck
across the middle of the paper.
I stamped happy birthday from a set called
Country Birdhouse and the small cakes are
from a set called Tabs for Everything, both SU.
The cute little dog has been coloured up with
markers and the sentiment is from the
same stamp set.
I used a set of rectangle stitched dies (SU).

I'm also sharing my midway post for our
Close to Nature theme over at
and remember we also have an amazing prize
up for grabs there too!

For my card I went with a fun fold shape.
I had saw one on Pinterest but it wasn't linked
to anyone so no instructions/measurements to follow.
So put my brain in gear and made this from
the photo.

It was made for my daughter-in-law's Rachel's birthday
and she love nature and gardening.

It did take a bit of time but made a  nice card.

I have used papers called Countryside Inn and Balmy Blue card (SU).
The stamp sets used are called
Butterfly Gala + punch, Forever Fern
and Forever Flourishing Dies.
I used boho blue and flirty flamingo inks
and just had fun with lots of stamping and die cutting
making the little foliage bouquets,
finishing them with a bit of ribbon.
I added some stamped and punched butterflies
along with some nice sentiments to the book side
and stamped around my birthday verse side
using the same stamps and inks.

It did fold fairly flat and slipped into it's envelope easily.

I would like to enter this into
any kind of papercraft but especially fun folds

Double Post, double prizes!

Today I am sharing my midway post for our
 challenge at
where the theme is feminine along with option anything goes.
Just remember to STAMP something!!

We do have an amazing prize up for grabs
so be sure and get your entries in.

For my book style card I used a hammered white card for the base.
I cut an inch of check paper for the side,
embossed two lines either side of it and stuck in place.
I added two eyelets and tied some white ribbon
through them.
For the image I stamped the background in sweet sorbet ink,
then over stamped some black polka dots.
I then stamped the two shoes onto matching
and co ordinating papers,
cut them out and paper pieced them, adding some black
to the heels and insoles.
They were then stuck in place.
The sentiment was stamped directly onto the base.

Items used
Dress to Impress stamp set (SU)
Country Gingham papers (SU)
Sweet Sorbet ink pad (SU)
Eyelets and ribbon from stash.

For my midway post over at
where the theme is four legged friends,
I have made a shaped easel card.

I cut my base and top card using dies from
Tattered Lace.
The Country Gingham papers were on my desk
so I used them again for this card,
alternating the checks inside and out.
The dog was stamped using a very old stamp from
Home & Heart and he has been coloured using
my pencils and sansodor.
The sentiment is from a set called
Approaching Perfection (SU) and cut
using the same die set.
I found a very old paw print stamp so used that
in the corners.
Think it was QVC a long time ago!!!

We have two lovely prizes up for grabs
so be sure and get your entries in.

Double Post

Our May challenge has started over at
and the theme is feminine along with anything goes.

Of course we have a fabulous prize up for grabs from
John Next Door stamp and dies from Grafton Crafts,
a well stocked bricks and mortar and on line shop
offering fee p&p on all orders over £15

For my card this week I used some scrap papers
from my stash then tied them all together with pink
card. I embossed a piece of the card with a dotty
embossing folder and used a piece of sandpaper
to remove the colour off the dots then fitted it
into my design layout.
The image is from Stamping Bella stamps, Uptown Girls.
I stamped and coloured them up with markers.
Cut them with a square die and added some ribbon and
bakers twine before mounting onto some pink card.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set
and cut it up for the front.
I finished the card with some pink dots.

one in black, one in white and stamped my cats
