Butterfly Brilliance

Our new challenge theme over at
has been chosen by Sandie and she wants to see
THINGS WITH WINGS.

I dug out my Butterfly Brilliance stamp set,
stamped the background and added some colour around them.
The butterfly on top was die cut from my papers
and the sentiment was stamped using Lovely You stamp set.
I matted it onto black card and finished
with an eyelet and ribbon.

Hope you get time to join us.

Wet and miserable day today!
Plenty to keep me busy in the craft room.

All stitched up!

Happy Monday!
My card today has an autumnal feel but also maybe end of summer 😎

I have gone with a black base then inked up my mat
using poppy parade, then pumpkin pie, and finishing with bumblebee inks.
Then using the Stitchery Stamp Set,
I choose a few different stitches, spaced them out and
then stamped them down the card using black ink.

The sentiment came from a set called Lovely You and it has a
matching punch called Lovely Labels.
So I punched some black and smaller piece of white at one end
so I could layer up my sentiment.
The sentiment just about fits (bad stamping lol),
and I added a wee flower and gem to pop on the end.

I then thought the top was a bit bare sooooo,
using dragonfly garden stamp and punch set I made a matching
dragonfly.

We had the heaviest rain ever I have experienced last night.
It sounded thunderous!! Yet this morning the paths were dry!
Spooky or what!
Have a great week and thanks so much to those who have
recently placed an order with me.
It has got me off to a very good start!!

Butterflies & Flowers

I am enjoying my stencilling at the minute so
thought I would make another tag.
I had another play with the
Butterflies & Flowers layering decorative masks
from Stampin' Up!
I used the daisy background one and the butterfly one
with melon mambo, grapefruit grove and pale papaya inks.
The flowers and sentiment are from a set called
Lovely You.
I did a quick video over on YouTube
which you can watch here.

The first one was filled with photos of someone
they had lost but you could make them themed
for any occasion....
anniversary, new baby, new house, graduation etc.

So I thought I would made a video while doing the second one.

Ladybirds at Tag Tuesday

It's the second week of our challenge over at Tag Tuesday
where the theme is
LADYBIRDS.

For my tag this week I have used Lovely You stamp set
to create the flower garden.
I inked up a cloudy sky and then added some of the little ladybirds
from the Bee Crafty stamp set.
I finished by flicking some ink and adding a baker's twine bow.

Hope you get time to join us.
