Maze Book

I made a couple of these little Maze books
recently to pop some photos of my
Grandkids in.

You get one book from a 12" x12" sheet of paper.
Super quick and easy to make
and great for eating into your stash!

You can watch my video tutorial here

I finished them off with a matching box
to store them and make into a
perfect little keepsake.

I used papers from an old pack from
Basic Grey called Sultry.
I teamed it up with brown card
and braiding for the closure.
The stamp set is called
Part of my Story (SU).

Measurements needed to make one
12" x 12" paper score at 3", 6", 9".
Turn right and repeat same score lines. Board for covers - 3" x 3" Dsp for cover - 4" x 4" 20" piece of ribbon and two smaller pieces at 2 1/2" (optional)

Howl at the moon!

Happy Friday!
I have been away for a few days in Wicklow
with hubby and it was so great to have
a little break as we haven't been away from
last September!
Weather was amazing, nearly too hot, dare I say lol.

My card today was made for my Son's 40th last week.
I used a stencil/mask set from Sheena Crafts
called Howling at the moon.
The stamp sets that go along with it are called
Be one with nature and Just Breathe.
I also used a few SU sets called
Sip Sip Hooray, Happiness Abounds
and Part of my story.
The papers are from Nitwits called Pocake Masculine.
I used various inks and markers to complete the card.
Inside I made an envelope to hold his birthday money.

Ballerina in a box!

Today's needle felted project is a little Ballerina Box.
All little ballerina's need a place to relax and unwind, don't they lol??
I decorated the front using some old papers from my stash
which were ballerina themed. I added the letter A as this will be for
my Granddaughter Aimee in a few years time lol.

And here she is. I haven't named her yet but
I will keep her safe until my Granddaughter is old enough to have her.
Needle felted toys are really not toys but more keepsakes.

As you can see I made a little mattress from pink felt
and sewed a little gingham pillow with added stuffing
to keep her comfortable.

But as it is winter I thought she needed a little blanket too
to keep her warm so I crocheted up one in colourful wool.

I had the tin in my stash for a long time and she just fitted it perfectly.
It has been decorated up using some very old papers from my stash
and I stamped a little sentiment on the inside using a stamp
from a set called Part of my Story (SU).
