Fairy Days!

Our new challenge theme over at

TAG TUESDAY

has been chosen my Michele and she wants to see

fairies/faeries.

For my tag I have gone with layered ovals for the tag in

melon mambo card and white card.

The image is from a stamp set called New Wonders (R).

I coloured her with blends and water coloured the

sky using starry sky ink and wink of stella pen.

I hope you get time to play along!

Make it magical!

I made this card for my midway DT post over at

STAMPING SENSATIONS

where the theme is make it magical.

The stamp set I used this time is called New Wonders (SU).

First I stamped my background using a stamp from

Dressed to Impress (SU). I then stamped the little fairy,

coloured her with markers and blends

and then stamped the sentiment which came from a

stamp set called Dragonfly Garden (SU).

The background of my base card was stamped using the stars

from the fairy stamp in the same colour as the card.

I added stitching around the card using Stitchery stamp set (SU).

The card was finished using a wrap around bow in white ribbon.

Art Journal Page 11 - New Wonders!

Art Journal page 11!
Can't believe I have stuck at this very enjoyable project!
My page today started off pretty random. I decided to
cover my page in gesso and then made myself a punched
1" circle stencil and proceeded to ink up the page.
I made a 1/2" circle template and did some using the same ink.
Then I just swished the sponge to create the block of ink underneath.
Now what!! Wasn't sure what way to go but thought it needed
some depth so out came the twinkle twinkle dsp and more punched circles.
Of course that led to the nursery rhyme and that led to the little fairy image.
And so my page was finished!!

New Wonders gift tag

I pulled out one of my Host Sets

(available to you when you either host a party or spend a certain amount in my shop)

This one is called New Wonders and features the cutest

little fairy and some lovely sentiments too.

I love the depth the stamp gives, it really looks like a curled page!

Perfect tag to use on a gift for a child going back to school.
