Colours of autumn

It's time for our October challenge over at
and the optional theme this month is
colours of Autumn.
As always we have an amazing prize up for grabs!

For my card I  stamped some text on the base of my card in pumpkin pie ink.
I then cut myself a broad border using pumpkin pie card.
I stamped, die cut and coloured my leaves and arranged them across the border.
I stamped, cut and coloured the hedgehog and pumpkins and
added them to my leaves.
I then stamped the sentiment over the text and finished with
some matching gems.

We had a great time at the Wedding yesterday but unfortunately
it rained non stop from 11am to 7pm.
Thankfully it did not dampen the day at all as everything
from the ceremony to the festivities were all catered for in the one
area and the place provided umbrellas when walking from
one area to another.
Have a great week everyone!

All things Autumn

This is my midway design team post for
STAMPING SENSATIONS
theme of All Things Autumn
and of course there are two lovely prizes up for grabs!

So for my card  I have used a white base card,
matted with papers called Delightful Daisy (SU),
to which I wrapped some Terracotta tile ribbon to before sticking down.
I then cut out an oval, stamped some foliage to the left using
Stylish Sketches stamp set from SU.
I coloured them up using my blends then stamped
the same images twice on separate white card and coloured
and cut them out. They were added to the left of my oval
using dimensionals. I stamped a sentiment in pumpkin pie ink (SU)
from a stamp set called Dragonfly Garden (SU).
I glued the oval to my base card and finished with a tiny
linen bow.

All things Autumn!

Our October challenge at
has a theme of All Things Autumn!

We have two lovely prizes up for grabs this month!

We also have two lovely new team members
so be sure and check out Carol and Dora!!

For my card I started with a tan base card and I stamped
the corns using soft suede ink (SU).
I found a strip of the tartan paper in my scraps and laid
it across the centre of my stamped area.
Next I stamped and water coloured two large leaves using
bumblebee and pumpkin pie ink pads, colouring them in
by dipping my old wink of stella brush in some ink and water.
The pumpkin was done the same way, all cut out and matted
on to my tartan paper.
The sentiment is from the same set as the leaves and is called
Gather Together (SU).
I punched the sentiment and mat out in the tan card
using the oval punch (SU),
and finished with a little bow in twine.

I hope you get time to join us.
Let's light up blogland with some gorgeous Autumnal colours!!

Recycling at Tag Tuesday

It's the second week of our recycling challenge over at
Have you joined us yet???

I saved this box from our rubbish.
It held a load of plum tomatoes and now it's living
the good life as an autumnal tag!

So I cut the bottom into my tag base.
I then stamped my crackle paint stamp in early expresso ink.
I used my brushes to ink round the edges and then punched a hole
for the ribbon (cinnamon cider).
Next I stamped the sentiment in pumpkin pie ink using
Statement of the Heart stamp and cut it out using
I inked around the edges using early expresso ink.
Next I cut some leaves out (gathered leaves dies)
I inked the edges of each and displayed as you see on the tag
I'm pretty pleased with the natural look it has and the tomato
box was made of really sturdy cardboard.
