Double up for Spring!

I am sharing a card for my DT midway post over at
where the theme is
Hello Spring or anything goes.

We have two fabulous prizes of Lisa Horton products
so be sure and join us!!

Entries must have at least one stamped element on the front of entered work using either conventional rubber/acrylic stamps or digital images.

So I pulled out my Lisa Horton products and made a get well card.
I cut a frame in green card using  the nested stitched bubble squares (LH),
then cut a white piece for my image.
I used the multi layer Garden Rose stencil, stamp and die set
along with some grapefruit grove, crushed curry, garden green
and granny apple green inks (SU).
I stamped and stencilled my rose, stamped the sentiment
from the same set and finished with some sequins.

It's also time to share my midway card for
where the theme is also
Hello Spring or anything goes.

We also have a lovely prize up for grabs here too.
Two lovely Penny Black stamps from Buddly crafts.
As always there must be some stamping on the front of your entry and brief details of products used.

For my card I used a Penny Black stamp called Sunbursts.
To get the different colours on the stamp I used
Stampin' Write Martkers (SU)
which took a bit of time as they are getting low in ink.
I went with Grapefruit Grove and Call me Clover
then added some pineapple punch to highlight the flowers
along with some brown.
I added some clouds to the background along
with a tiny stamp for some decoration.
I added a bit of fencing which I coloured up with my
blending brush and finished with a sentiment
from Oval Occasions stamp set (SU),
punched using my oval punch (SU).

Anyone for tea?

It's time for my mid month DT card for
where the theme is anything goes option Autumn Colours.

We have a great prize from

I found an old pack of teapot templates from Craftworks and decided
to make one for my Mother-in-law's birthday.

I traced the template onto my chosen papers and
cut it out. The papers are also Craftworks.
I inked the edges using pumpkin spice ink and
glued to the template.
I then covered a separate lid in the same way with
a different piece of paper and inked it up.
I attached a rectangle of card to the lid
and stamped a message using  a stamp set called
Approaching Perfection (SU).
The birthday sentiment is stamped and punched using
a bundle called Oval Occasions.
I then stamped two of each flower from a set called
Floral Essence. I cut them out and layered them up.
The centres have been made using some pearlized enamel effects drops.
I then stamped the leaves in old olive ink and punched them out.
I doubled up the back of the teapot to make a pocket
for my lid to slip into.

I then added the flowers and sentiment and finished off
the handle by wrapping some green twine around the handle
and added two beads to the ends.
The bow was then added to the removable lid.

I hope you get time to join us this month.

Tick tock!

I have another tag for Michele's challenge over at
where the theme is clocks/time.
After much searching I am realising that I only have one clock stamp!
So out came that set called Chronology
and and this time I used three different ink colours to stamp the clock.
I punched a few ovals using my oval punch and
stamped the sentiment with some cogs and added some ribbon behind.
I thought the whole tag lacked a bit of texture so
I added some 3d paint through a stencil.
I finished it off with an eyelet.

I hope you get time to join us.

We have been hibernating for about a week or so now
as our daughter is heading to USA on Friday and we
are afraid of carrying covid into the house.
We are all vaccinated but we just don't want to take any chances,
and ruin her trip.
She will be away for two weeks and I will be counting the days
till she gets back, hopefully COVID free!!

Double Post Today!

It's time for a new challenge at
and it's my turn to choose the theme.
If you haven't guessed from my tag it's
FRUIT and/or VEG!

I had this stamp I earned during Sale-a-bration
that had yet to be inked so my theme was born!

I used Berry Delight papers for the background.
The berries have been stamped in real red and granny apple green ink,
cut out and layered together in the basket I made from some food packaging!
I added a sentiment and a little bow from bakers twine.
I combined two bakers twine colours for the top.
Hope you can join us!!

Easter Card

Another Easter card,
this time for my Mother-in-law.
It really was made up from scraps from my table!

I cut some layering ovals in crumb cake card to make the card bigger
and the papers, all retired where cut then stamped
using  Home to Roost (retired) and crumb cake ink and stuck in place.
I punched a load of scraps using the Oval Occasions
punch to make the eggs.
They look a bit long but I wouldn't complain if
they were chocolate lol.
I layered them all up, stamped a sentiment
 then added the metallic bow.
I decided to add a little bird from the
Quite Curvy bundle and coloured him using
I added loads of Wink of Stella to the spots
on the eggs, doesn't pick up well in photo
but does make them look much prettier.

Easter Egg Cards

I made these cards for my Grandkids
for Easter.
I decided going with an oval shape would look cute
and with them all being boys
I went with green and blue colours.
I cut one oval in Bermuda bay and one in granny apple green.
The curvy die was used to cut the top and bottom
off both ovals and then I just swapped
them about and and stuck on to my base card
which I had cut with the same oval.
I stamped and coloured the little rabbit in
matching colours and the sentiment
was stamped in bermuda bay ink and
punched out using the Oval Occasions dies.

For this card I have used
Oh so Ombre papers retired
