Rainbow Cloud Cards

My tutorial today uses up more scraps of card and designer papers.
I used my cloud die to create the space
and chopped up lots of scraps from my Subtles card and dsp.

You can watch my video here.

Add a little stencilling

Our May challenge over at
is anything STAMPED option do some stencilling.

We have two lovely prize up for grabs so come and join us!

For my card the stencilling was done by cutting myself a cloud border
using the basic border dies.
I then just used a variety of inks to create a pastel cloudy background.
I then stamped the branches, leaves, flowers and music notes on
top of my stencilling.
The little birds where stamped and punched and stuck in place
using dimensionals.
I finished with a stamped sentiment from the same set
Sweet Songbirds.

I am looking forward to seeing what you all create!

Sweet songbirds

Happy Monday!
I was doing a video tutorial and some cardmaking and had
this strip left over so decided to do another tag for my theme
of anything goes at

I love this Sweet Songbirds set, so quick and easy to work with.
The cloud background has used lots of pastel colours.
I reckon it would make a cute bookmarker too.

I had a busy weekend preparing for my daughter's 30th birthday this week.
We will be having a little get together for the whole family
next Sunday so between buying in food supplies,
finishing off her album, making her an exploding box and
gathering up some fun presents I am wrecked lol.
Now have to prepare 1st communion album for my Grandson
for the 6th May along with a load of cards.
Wish me luck!!

Sporty funfold card

Friday again!!
The time is flying way to fast for my liking.
Today's card is for the 3rd birthday of the month
and it's for my second eldest son Deáglan's  birthday
which is today!!
He is all in to triathlons so that's the theme I went with.

The stamp sets used are mostly retired ones bar
Alphabest, Basic Border dies and postage stamp punch.
I went with a rectangle pop up box card this time.
I have made square ones before but never the rectangle
and it was just as easy to make lol.

ATC 8 - Pride Month

As it's Pride Month I thought I should
do a rainbow theme for this week's ATC.

It was influenced by a video I saw on YouTube

So I have used my layering circles to create the rainbow,
using brights card stock mostly.
The background has been inked with clouds.
I then inked another piece, same size as my atc
and using my basic border dies
(the cloud one, which you could use to create your own cloud template)
to cut the cloud shape where I needed it.
It was then layered onto the rainbow.
Sentiment stamped from a retired set in memento.
Finished it by inking around the edges.
