Pretty Folio and pen

I have made another folio to use up my 12 x 12 stash.
This one used papers from K & Company and My Mind's Eye
along with some Soft Sea Foam card.

I saw a folio made by May May on YouTube which sparked
an idea and this is what I ended up with.
The front is magnetised and I added a matching pen.

Inside there are note cards and a jotter
decorated with stickers, machine stitched and some stamping.

Flip another page and you get some pockets holding
another little note book and some pretty tags.
It is full of nice friendship and inspirational quotes.

Wings at Tag Tuesday

The theme over at
has been chosen by me and I would love to see
ANYTHING WITH WINGS!
So a wide open theme for sure.

For this tag I have gone with a Spring like scene.
I used the stamp set called
for the little birds and the trees came from
Life is Beautiful which is sadly retired.
I created the clouds using my homemade stencil and
The birds have been coloured using
The leaves on the trees have been coloured with
I punched the top of the tag with the

Crackle Paint Tag

I came across a new challenge, well new to me, all about making tags!!
So happy. I love making tags but only did them for Christmas last year
so now I get to play and enter them into a challenge!!

The theme is Wings so I thought the Butterfly Gala stamp set
teamed up with the gorgeous Crackle Paint stamp would be perfect.
I punched my tag, making it bigger than the 2" slot,
then stamped the crackle paint using Seaside Spray ink.
I inked up around the edges, working into the centre using same ink.
I stamped and punched the butterflies in memento and coloured
using daffodil delight blends.
The sentiment was stamped directly onto the tag, and I then added
the butterflies, finishing them with bodies and antenna.
You know how I like everything matching so I pulled out the
precious new scalloped linen ribbon in seaside spray to finish it off.

Christmas Snowman tag

Those little last minute presents definitely deserve a handmade tag too, don't they?
I only need a few more, though I think I said that last week lol.
This one is quick and easy, just what we need at this time of year!!

I stamped my snowman in the centre of a 2" wide piece of card.
I punch the top using my tag topper punch (love this punch!!)
I then stamped some snowflakes around the edges in Balmy Blue ink.
I coloured the snowman using blends and then finished the tag by
inking around the edges with more balmy blue and I coloured a piece of
pool party sparkle ribbon with the matching blender.
Added a merry Christmas sentiment.

Snowman tag

I've been neglecting my tag making so I'm here to make it right!
I wanted to see if I could make a rosette for my tag using the corrugated texture embossing folder
and I'm pretty happy with the results!
It has a good covering of wink of stella and then I stamped, coloured and cut out
the cute wee snowman!

He really does sparkle and will make a perfect tag for one of my Grandsons.

How I made it:

1. I cut a 2" x 5" piece of old olive card and punch the tag top
2. I added a piece of Under the Mistletoe dsp
2. Using the embossing folder I ran a 1" x 8" piece of whisper white card through.
3. I joined the edges to form the rosette using wet glue and adhered to a circle of card to hold.
4. I added some wink of stella and adhered to tag.
5. I stamped the snowman, coloured with watercolour pencils and added wink of stella.
6. He was cut out and added to the rosette using dimensionals.
7. I stamped the sentiment, cut to separate the words and adhered top and bottom of tag.
8. It was finished with a piece of poppy parade ribbon.
