Sympathy card 2

I'm sharing another one of the sympathy cards I made recently for a friend.
I went with a centre step card.
The flowers, foliage and butterflies came from various sets
from my stash and the papers are from a retired pack.

I followed the design inside too.

Thinking of you...

Happy Monday.
I had a few sympathy cards to make for a few special friends
who recently lost their Mum/Granny.
This is one of them.

I used a tattered lace die for the card shape. I think it's called a
tri fold shutter.
The papers are from Stampin' Up! and the flowers and foliage are from
a mix of retired products. One of them is my favourite all time set called
Forever Fern.

This is a side view.
I layered up the butterfly die from  a set called Brilliant Wings dies.
The sentiment is from a stamp set called Hope you Know.

Electric went off here early this morning.
Thankfully we had just finished our breakfast, would hate to miss
my first cuppa of the morning!
It is back on now though.
It's now 1pm and I'm finally getting into my craft room
Looking like ONE OF THOSE WEEKS lies ahead of me!!
Have a great week.

Birthday card, album and exploding box

My post today is just a share of the items I made for my daughter's

30th Birthday which was yesterday.

We took them both out to lunch on Thursday but we are having her

party on Sunday with the family.

I made her the card above. Hadn't made one in a long time

so surprised myself at how easy it was lol.

I also made her an Alice in Wonderland themed mini album.

I got the tutorial from Cal Summers.

I have a quick video of the album here.

The exploding box was made using the leftover papers from

the album here

Both videos are less than a minute long but much quicker to show
than taking a mountain of (bad) photos 😂

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

for a refresh.
There will be a video available for any new subscribers
to my Newsletter. Just click here.

The papers I used today where a free set during Sale-a-bration!
The stamp set is called Happiness Abounds and
I also used the Brilliant wings dies and dsp to make
the butterfly embellishments.

We have another birthday this weekend as our Grandson Tom
turns 8. I spent an exhausting morning trying to get him a descent
tracksuit! Shops are coming down with those sweatshirt type
but I really wanted the polyester ones, must better wearing.
So disappointed with what I got but nothing else for it.
Back home complete pooped!!

Tealight Gift Packages

My video tutorial today is a quick and easy way to give
a small gift, ie tealights, sweets, biscuit/teabag etc.

I am always looking small ideas to pop into my customers
card orders and this week I am going with tealights.
It's a great way to use up scraps of dsp.
All the items I have used are hopefully still available
and at a greatly reduced price!!

You can watch my video here

Spring at Stamping Sensations

Side view.

And it folds flat!

It's time for our March challenge over at

STAMPING SENSATIONS

and this month the theme is

Stamp Something For Spring!

We have a lovely prize up for grabs so come and join us.

For my card today I have used a lovely new die set from
Card Making Magic called Flower Box & Card.
I have cut the base out using Soft Seafoam card,
layering it up with white and blushing bride card and some paper
from sunshine and rainbows paper pack (SU).
I then stamped the tulips, stems and leaves from
Timeless Tulips stamp set using soft seafoam,
fresh freesia, pale papaya, rococo rose and old olive ink pads.
Each piece has been cut and added to the card.
I die cut some butterflies from the Brilliant Wings dies (SU).
The sentiment is from Dressed to Impress stamp set (SU).
I made a little bunch of tulips to embellish the front
and added a little felt bow. Some wink of stella has been added
here and there for sparkle.

A perfect card for my Mother-in-law.

I hope you get time to come and join us and who
wouldn't want to win that fabulous prize!!

Fun fold Birthday card

Front

Back

I have 5 fun fold cards to make for a customer, this is the second one.
So I thought I would have a go at a block card.
This is my first one and it physically hurt my brain to work out the measurements
for the size of card I needed lol. But once I got my head around it
I really enjoyed decorating it up.

The front is covered in daisies using Daisy Lane stamp set and punch.
The leaves are die cut from the Forever Flourishing Dies and coloured with ink.
I have added some card candi to the centres.
The papers are from a freebie during Sale-a-bration set last year.
Inside I have cut some butterflies using Brilliant Wings dies.
The little ladybirds are from Nitwits.

Sketch 12 - Birthday butterflies

This is sketch 11 from

This time I have gone with night of navy
and polished pink card to tie in with the
butterfly bijou papers.
I used a tiny little die that embosses a brick finish
from the Brilliant Wings dies on the pink card.
The two butterflies were also created
using the same die set.
I stamped a large Happy Birthday
So quick and easy!!

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
